was just a shock. Didn’t know who tell and I needed to tell someone. Thought about telling my Mum but she’d only moan. Boyfriends really down, dunno what to do or say. I wanted to go back to work at some point but my anxiety is going off cos i weren’t ready just yet. Sounds silly. Dunno what to do or say. I’ve just typed that but I feel a bit overwhelmed 
just stood in the kitchen making the baby some pasta for tea with tears in my eyes, just bad timing for him to lose his job, with everything going up etc

i'm sorry to hear that @watermelon sugar it sucks! but he's a hard working melon i'm sure he will find something soon 
@watermelon sugar I'm sorry to hear of your boyfriend's redundancy. Perhaps he could get a job in B & Q,, though he should be careful not to get thumped if he approaches someone and asks if they want flooring.

Sorry to hear about Mr Melon's job but hopefully after the initial shock he can start looking for work and I am sure he will find something even if it takes a bit longer. All you can try to do is support him and I hope things pick up @watermelon sugar.
i've had another really long day out at work which isn't done yet and i'm really tired, feel like i have nothing to contribute with other than boring you with my work my neck and back still hurt from my day trip on monday because i spent so much time sitting in the car
tomorrow is finally a home office day, still a lot to do but at least from the comfort of my home with the possibility of cuddling my kitty while working

I know it’s overwhelming and stressful as you know Me and mr bored were made redundant in August last year but once the initial shock is processed the practical head comes out and applications go out things get sorted in the majority of cases. The 50 in my team that were canned all found jobs to go to within a month. Really hope it works out for you melons, from what you’ve said he’s a really hard worker so sure something will turn up.

The guy who’s car I hit has sent me a quote for £1700 for repairs. His bleeping car isn’t even worth £1700. He can duck right off and go through my insurance. There’s no damage to my car at all so I’m confused to how there’s £1700 worth of damage to his. Con artist!!
