My sister's first boyfriend was a beauty.

They'd been together since high school and were engaged to be married when they both turned 21... and then it got back to her he'd been screwing multiple women on the side the whole time. She then cut off the engagement and he did the whole " They meant nothing to me and it'll never, ever happen again " bullshit. He left town not long after.

He turned up for their 20th High School Reunion on his own and they chatted for a while. He told her he'd married and had two kids. He also asked her if she wanted to spend the night at the motel he was staying at " for old times sake. "

Amazingly she knocked him back and almost decked him.

I once saw my ex on Tinder while we were still together (I was swiping on my friends account with her one night while we were having drinks).
I took a screenshot and sent it to him asking him to super like me.

He blamed me then blamed his friends for telling him to make it on a night out after he had moaned about me

I know someone who’s now husband cheated on her while they were engaged for at least a year with the same woman. They come from a very small town so eventually it became common knowledge, even among their friends. It was a sort of open secret. Eventually, one of her friends told her what was going on but she refused to believe it and went ahead with the wedding. I’m not sure if it was denial or sheer defiance but I couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle knowing my husband to be had been cheating and half the bloody guests knew!

I have been cheated on twice, that I know off. One was with my first love and proper boyfriend, we had been together since we were about 15. I think we were about 19/20 and starting to want different things.. Loads of stupid rows etc.. I had my own place and he would stay pretty much all the time, we would party quite a bit too which he loves, something I was getting bored off but I still invited people over one Friday so i was very surprised when he lied he was on his way, then turned off his phone and didn't hear from him till the next night lol? It was his mum who contacted me on the Sunday and told me this girl (who was a mutual friend of ours) had been round on the Friday and she felt awful. I said nothing to him that I knew, and while with me his phone kept going so i snatched it from him and the last message was to this girl which said she looked really sexy in her uniform.. she worked in Poundstretcher... I worked in Tesco at the time & got annoyed he had never said that about me in my uniform He looks like Kim jong-un so karma

The second time was when I worked abroad for a season. Stupidly went out with a DJ... though he works in a karaoke bar so he isn't really Tiesto vibes but still.. I was smitten, always believed him when he said there was nobody else... he would always just say he has to be flirty because of his job, there's a difference though having a flirt with someone and being full on creepy... at the time I didn't really think twice about it. One night we were sat on the sofa and he was just messaging loads of random girls through facebook, said it was part of his job to keep girls happy so they would keep going back to his bar... one night when he was asleep I went through his phone and found he had kissed some girl and basically fondled her boobs while in the DJ box... that was the summer romance done with. I'm still friends with him now, he still living the dream as a DJ.. nearly 10 years on.

Thankfully my experiences happened when I was young enough to not dwell on it all too much and I can laugh about it now.

So my friend was a bit of a low point in her life and joined a dating site to meet members of the armed forces ! She got chatting to a fair few men ( ego boost , and she was very attractive) anyway she had been chatting to these two guys from the same army base and she said to me I've got a strong feeling they know each other .
So she has a casual kind of fling thing with the first guy , all the while the second one was still chatting to her.... So she then invited the second guy round and things happened between them too . The first guy goes silent and she's sure it's because they've been talking. Anyway she alternates between the two for months , I even met one of them once. Then she gets a random messege off a woman , with the same name as her ....... How do you know my husband........ It's the first guys wife , so my friend tells her everything , including about this second guy ...... Who it turns out is also married and to this girl's best friend !
So my friend tells her everything and the first guys wife , says he's done thing before but denied sleeping with anyone , so my friend tells her , when they first excahmged messeges , he called himself Adam .... Yes that's exactly what he had done to this previous women .
So she then has the seocnd guys wife calling , by which time she had got fed up .
The first guy must be brilliant at manipulation because he somehow convinced his Mrs that she was lying , she had slept with his mate ( guy number 2) and this was some kind of revenge plot , so he lied through his teeth and chucked his best mate under a bus at the same time .
The second guy ended up getting divorced , but that lying bastard guy one , he's still with his Mrs and they've had another baby

my ex was cheating on me and i found out by accident when we were at a festival abroad with a group of friends
i told him i don't want to spend the festival with him and made him drive back home (4-ish hours)
right sometime after he passed the border i called him to come back, he drove for hours again to come back
by the time he re joined us i was drunk, dancing with another guy and having the time of my life
oh, and he also got an elbow in his stomach in the crowd

the head teacher of a school near my home town was having an affair with his deputy who was also married. They were caught during a school holiday revision session by a student who recorded sex noises coming from his office. She sent it on and someone put it on Facebook. Both ended up being struck off. My friend went to that school and everyone was saying that the deputy had shagged her way to the top.

A teacher at my school married a 6th former... several years after but he definitely taught her.

I was also, completely oblivious to being the “other woman” at uni. I’m not sure I even was the other woman, or if we were together first.. either way, we both found out when she arrived at his uni accommodation one day to surprise him. Not sure who was most surprised

I’ve slept with my friend a couple of times whilst I was living with him and his girlfriend, they’re not together anymore and fortunately we were never caught. I slept with the girlfriend once too.

Also a teacher at my school was having an affair with one of the 6th form students and He left his wife and kids for her.

Maybe my karma for unknowingly being a mistress was that I got cheated on.

He was away travelling for a few months. Due to work commitments I was unable to go. Couldn’t have been more attentive despite the time difference and miles. I was following his travels through emails, msn chats and phone calls.

He mentioned a few names, being an inquisitive type I did a bit of digging on the tour group he was with, and fell into one of the groups blogs. It became apparent that along with his name it was always mentioned with a woman’s name. Let’s call them Fred and Rose. When the blogger mentioned activities, Fred and Rose had occasionally done separate things to the group etc.

On our MSN chat that night, after pleasantries I asked Fred who Rose is as it was a name he hasn’t mentioned, “I’m going to call you” was the response.

Long story short, it turned out he’d booked a surprise for me to go meet him at his connecting flight home location and have a weekend away before heading hone. We made up...

Or so he thought. I always wonder how long he waited at the airport.

The more I think, the more I cheating I can think of, not often involving me!

My cousin has been with his partner for a long time. He had to work away on occasions. Randomly a girl messaged me asking if he was ok as they were supposed to meet up and he blocked her, she must have snipped before to see I was his cousin on there. She said they had a ‘thing’.

I called my cousin up and made of light of it, he nervously laughed and denied and promptly deleted his Facebook!!

So one of my exes was always a bit sus- we started dating when I was 18, he was 21 and in our first couple of months we were together I saw him texting his ex. So I mentioned it and the arse gaslit me into thinking I’d not seen it but said he’d delete her number if it made me feel better. Fast forward a few months later and I see loads of messages pop up and I have a look. He was basically arranging to meet up with her and saying things like “you’re the only girl I’ve ever loved” so I went mad and confronted him- and he basically spun this story that he was texting her that way because she was in an eating disorder unit and didn’t want to make her worse- which was true, she was in hospital. And I forgave him putting it down to him being stupid whilst trying to be nice.

we had occasional blips like this throughout- he’d be messaging exes or have hidden social media profiles and everything, argue about it and I’d forgive him. But then in our 5th year of being together things did shift a bit and he was convinced I was going to cheat on him, hated me talking to any guys- even in a work capacity. Then out of the blue he tells me that he wants to go abroad to do an internship for 4 weeks after completing his degree. And at the time I thought it was great because he’d finally started taking getting a job seriously. 4 weeks turned into 6 then it was 8 weeks and in the end I think he was planning on going for 12 weeks. I was super upset but agreed and he was telling me how much he was looking forward to getting back and looking for houses with me.

Anyway he goes on this trip, comes back and carries on with me as normal. Then one day I borrowed his iPad and saw messages from some girl on Skype that were dodgy. Confronted him about it and demanded to see his Skype login so he gave me account details for a different account so it’d look blank. Those details were for his regular email account though so I went home and logged in- found a tonne of emails about abroad weddings with someone he’d been with almost a year (so clearly not me) and that she’d be 18 at the time of the wedding (also not me because at this point I’d just turned 23). So he calls me to check id got home okay and I just completely deadpan said “am I invited to your wedding” and the silence was deafening. He tried to give me all kinds of excuses, one being it was for visa reasons for a friend. I just put the phone down. Did some sleuthing and tracked down a girl who’d just tuned 18, pictures with my boyfriend- clearly together so I messaged her nicely asking for details because I felt like she was a victim in it too. And she sent me a message saying she was his fiancé and that she’d heard I was trying to get in touch with him and to leave them both alone.

In the end, his SIL got the full story- there was no internship. He’d met her online and he was going out there to meet her and propose. She knew nothing about me and thought we’d been split up a while. They actually got married in the end, the day after what would have been our 6 year anniversary.

Got my revenge by spearing the rumour that I was going to the gossip mags with it and offered £500 to share.Safe to say he shit himself. And figured if I live my life like the queen I am then that’s enough for me. Fully believe karma will get him

I’ve been cheated on by my ex and I’ve also cheated (one time thing with someone from work). Not proud of it but I confessed to my fiancé and we worked through it. I’m not condoning my behaviour, what I did was terrible and wrong and it took a lot of hard conversations to get to where we wanted and to get to the reasons why etc. We’ve now been married for 4 years.
I don’t work for that company anymore but let’s just say about 30% of the people there were having proper affairs and the rest were just sleeping with each other after nights out etc.

Some years ago now, one of my aunts, found out when she discovered to her horror their house had been remortgaged and huge sums of missing money or something along those lines that my uncle had been having an affair with their daughters best friend for nearly 10 whole years! He had bought her a Range Rover and spent an awful lot of their money on her. My aunt stayed with him! But she would have no where else to go otherwise. She now drinks Vodka every night. Her nose is now deformed from the amount of times she has broken it, slamming it down on the kitchen table blind drunk.

I remember very well the night my father discovered my mum was having an affair. I believe my dad had found a passport photo in my mums handbag of another man and a few love letters, she had taken up her first job after raising 3 children subsequently and started an affair with a younger man - but that relationship lasted twice as long as her marriage to my dad, they remained together until she passed away.

An ex boyfriend of mine had a child with his brothers girlfriend. He was with her before, but spent some time in jail only to find out his younger brother was living with her and she was pregnant with his child when he came out. Their kids are siblings and cousins in one. I did cheat on him though too and I'm glad I did. I slept with one of my friends boyfriends but I was absolutely wreckless, drug addict at the time and did alot of silly things I regret.

My boyfriend now, has kids with two other woman who are cousins. No cheating was involved but I still find it a bit weird. His mother told me he got with the second one only to wind the first one up. They do not get on.

I was also in a brief relationship when I was a bit younger with someone, I didn't know he was someone else for months. His girlfriend found out and messaged me she was really gobby, so I said I'm glad. She ran up to me in the street and gave me a black eye when she saw me

Not me but I know of someone who found out her husband and best friend were having a relationship. It came to light when she got her wedding photos back and this girl was draped over the husband. Husband then admitted the affair and confirmed it was going on while she was pregnant and he never wanted the baby or to get married but went through with it anyway.

As a forces wife who's lived on camps behind the wire on and off for the last 10 years or so, I can say this happens A LOT
Basically the exact same situation you've described happened on a camp I lived a few years back!

First boyfriend, we were together 3 years - lost our virginity together the lot, I adored him. About 2&1/2 years into it he’s really distant me, tries to end it loads and then gets back with me. My best friend at the time was always his cheerleader - he’s so canny etc, I loved that my friend and boyfriend got along turns out they were sleeping together for 6 months behind my back, had to confess when she fell pregnant.

I was devasted and it turned into a real domino effect were 17 more girls came forward that he had slept with them too (most of them angry as he had told them he was single and I was an ex he couldn’t get rid of).

no one stayed together, we live in a really small town and for a long time I had anxiety about going out - feeling like people were talking about me & made worse that everytime I seen him he would either declare his undying love for me or try and start a fight.

Really happy now and although it was horrendous to go through it really taught me some life lessons on how to be treat and how to treat people.

I was seeing this guy once for about 6 months. He told me he really liked me and blah blah blah. We spent pretty much all of our free time togther. I had met him in a dating site and I knew he pretty much used dating sites for years on and off so I had my suspicions of him. One morning I was staying over at his and he was in the shower. His phone morning alarm went off and I reached over to turn it off and saw a Facebook message on the home screen from a girl. I read the first few lines which looked like he had been having a lovely chat with her. When he came back I asked him who she was. He said oh it's a girl I work with. So I believed him. Anyway that night it was bugging me. So I stalked her on Facebook. Turned out they weren't even Facebook friends and she lived in a different city! So anyway I confronted him about it and he eventually told me that she was a friend of a friend and they were being set up to date one another. he was keeping his options open as he didn't see me as "long term". Safe to say I put his toothbrush in the toilet and the champagne over his precious laptop.
