Oh the perfumes also from Lidl I have one it’s a dupe for la vie belle. Does it last all day? Absolutely not. But it’s good enough to last an hour and cheap enough to spray again it’s like £3 for 80MLs. I use it to cover up the scent of when I’ve had a fag when I’m out 😂

Can be anything that gives great value for money, cheers you up, or is even free!

I think hair dye from the supermarket or wherever is fantastic value. For only a few pounds you can dramatically change your look and I find my hair always looks quite shiny afterwards, the fab conditioner that they include probably. Obviously a bad reaction is a potential hazard (not that I ever do a patch test, been okay so far). I’m having a purple phase at the moment.

I‘m not putting down the services of a professional hairdresser, by the way, and realise that some people would prefer to pay for their expertise etc.
I use the Knight and Wilson blue hair dye and it’s AMAZING!

Cheapest Jaffa cakes you can get. The chocolate is harder and cracks when you bite them!

Derma V10 hand cream you can get in Savers for 99p, better than e45 cream in my opinion. Also, Lidl do a dupe of Aveeno hand cream which is also good.

Wickford and co wax melts from Home Bargains are strong scented and only about 79p.

Wilko's own brand bathroom foam cleaner is amazing. I use it on everything and it only cost me 25p
Aldi baby wipes
Sainsbury's Red Label tea bags are the best.

Their £2.99 jar candles are better than Yankee in my opinion.
100% better than Yankee Candles. My mum buys me the big Yankee jars for Christmas and black smoke smoke bellows out of them.

I used tp get my hair cut at the local college's hairdressing salon. Most ot the time I had a really good hair cut for quite a good price.

For perfume I prefer the Islamic oil dupes, I usually get them from Ebay, Al Azeera is the usual brand I get and its really cheap. The oil versions are so much stronger and longer lasting than the real deal!

Cheap garlic bread from Sainsburys, 2 baguettes for 65p Stamford St Food Company I think some of their own brand foods are under.

I prefer the own brand tinned Tuna too. It's nice and flakey how I like it.

The other half and I are quite fond of the local college restaurant. Three courses for about £6.50 including tea and coffee, and the food is really good. They do fancier meals for special occasions and the odd gourmet night - it’s a bit more expensive but still really good.

Tesco branded nappies. I switched from Pampers when my second was born as it was getting expensive buying them. So much better than pampers, no leaks, nice fit. Wish I had got them with my first would of been so much more cost effective.

Essence makeup in Wilko. For stuff like lip liners, a quid or two each, can't go wrong. W7 eyeshadow palettes, about six quid in B&M and dupes for the Huda palettes (loads of YouTube videos comparing).

I've recently changed from branded detergent to Aldi or Lidl tablets/pods and they're great and way cheaper. Smell lovely and I've noticed no difference in how clean my clothes are.

Zara and New Look for cheap day to day perfumes. Zara have some really nice ones and New Look has a Flowe Bomb (I think) dupe called Dusk which is nice if you like that sort of thing.

Aldi Freeman's Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. About £6.50 and easily on par with £9 bottles from other brands.

Primark stick on nails and false lashes are great for a pound each.

Superdrug Vitamin E skincare range is affordable, smells lovely and is usually 3 for 2.

This is a great thread. I’m definitely going to try some of these recommendations.

I love Wilko’s carpet and upholstery cleaner.. it’s only a couple of pounds and so much better than any other brand I’ve tried.

Another vote here for Sainsbury’s Red Label tea. Tesco also do the same thing and that’s better than any brand (in my view) too.

Yes to supermarket nappies. I wouldn't say I find them any better than branded ones, but I do find them more cost effective. I also buy supermarket sanitary towels.
