I got some £2.50 candles from Primark which looked fantastic (frosted glass jars and gold lids), and lasted ages - Sea Sage was one of them.

Has anyone read the latest Trisha Ashley the Wedding Dress Shop one. I wasn't grabbed by the blurb so I ordered it from the library instead who are in the process of buying it. I'm trying to be good with money at the moment. I notice it was over £12 in Amazon when it was in the supermarket at £8!

I noticed boxes of jigsaws in my local library but I've steered clear as I don't need any more addictions. I'm already a bookaholic and just rescued myself from becoming a jigsawaholic which started in the lockdowns. I have to be ready to crawl over hot coals to get another jigsaw now.

I bought a massive thing of plain Greek yogurt and I add a spoonful of strawberry jam to the top. So yummy! I’m having it twice a day atm, much cheaper and more delicious than buying flavoured yogurts!

No, it didn't grab me. I kept glazing over and my mind wandering whilst reading it, but the story is good so why don't I like it?
Possibly as it packed a lot in, so was confusing in parts. I had a vague feeling the timeline wasn't right but couldn't be bothered to check back in the book, and some of the sentences didn't make sense (not proof read?
).So I'm glad I didn't automatically buy it in hardback. It would probably make more sense if I read it all again so I might buy it in future if it turns up for £2 in The Works.
