anything superdrug own brand. it's all cruelty free (yay🐰), cheap as duck, much of it vegan and the scents they have are so lovely. bodywash, skin and hair care, dental stuff. even cotton buds etc - would defo recommend
Seconded! I love their Vitamin E range, esp the eye cream, gentle eye makeup remover, micellar solution, and hot cloth cleanser (that one's had a lot of love on the groomed/glamorous thread).
They're often on like a '3 for...' or '5 for...' type promotion too.

Their brown dry shampoo is great, gives a bit of root coverage too. Win win!

Primark's £6 cosy leggings (the ones with the fleecy inside lining). They are so comfortable and warm.

Urban Noodles
They were microwave noodles in a packet that looks like a take away box. They were so yummy. Used to get them in Dunnes Stores but haven't seen them in any shop in ages.
Morrisons have these ones for £1.80ish, in their world food section, I've not tried them yet.

According to my kids , the chocolate in the Kinnerton cheap advent calendars is delicious
it absolutely is! I have a peanut allergy and kinnerton is the best Free From chocolate. The kinnerton chocolate bars that come in the easter eggs are the best

came here to say about the micellar water too, haven't tried the other stuff yet but definitely will be. superdrug is so underated imo

I love these instant noodles https://www.orientalmart.co.uk/indomie-mi-goreng-stir-fry-spicy-noodles
so quick to cook of course and you can easily just throw in some frozen veg/tinned tuna or anything to make it more nutritious, probably eat them once a week

The micellar water is definitely more than 'just' micellar water imo.

Seconding the noodles and also that supplier - I get the black pepper beancurd and a variety of noodles in bulk from there pretty regularly. Love snipping the beanburd into the noodles with scissors plus a handful of frozen sweetcorn. Tasty af.

Nomo chocolate is marketed for vegans and dairy free market, but is also nut free and actually made by kinnerton. I'm allergic to nuts and peanuts too, and sometimes I buy Nomo bars and sometimes I buy the kinnerton kids chocolate for myself, haha.

If you can't get Aldi's Jo Malone-style candles (they are often sold out) Tesco sells very similar ones that cost about the same as Aldi's, smell very good and last. You can order them online if you don't live near a big Tesco

I also really like Bomb Cosmetics: https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/ that make lovely soaps and bath bombs, very creative and colourful like Lush's but much cheaper (around £2.50-£4 each), aren't tested on animals and most are suitable for vegans

I came here to mention the Bomb Cosmetics! Absolutely love their stuff.
Morrison’s own brand food is so good, I’m GF and my son is veggie so we shop there as they have the broadest range, but they do joints of meat, two for £7 and they’re delicious. Perfect for two greedy people, but could do more if you added Yorkshires, extra veggies etc. Served one up to my dad and he thought it was M&S 😂

Found a new cheap thing I like - the local college salon staffed by hairdressing students.

Had a full head of highlights with a cut and style and they did a brilliant job. I have dark hair and the highlights are this gorgeous toffee colour, thrilled to bits with them! They’re blended really well, I was scared they’d be stripy or chunky but needn’t have worried.
Also had a significant chop, think underboob length cut to shoulder length and it looks great , very happy with it.

The whole lot cost £32. Trips to my usual hairdresser have cost £200+ in the past!
Totally recommend seeing if your local college has anything like this.

Asda's own version of After Eights are really good. Nice chocolate to mint ratio.

You can't seem to get After Eights at one pound anymore and they're nearing to three pounds in a lot of shops. Spending a pound again is quite nice.

The one near me is great too! It’s only the students that are pretty much ready to graduate (I think in their final year) that get to cut on actual people, so the standard is really high. The prices are amazing and mines does the same for the beauty treatments like manis; pedis and massage too! It’s also setup like a “real” salon / spa vibes, so it’s enjoyable to go rather than being in like a classroom / training room situation.
