Can't stop thinking about how she felt that tattoos were "only for felons"
The tattoo thing does show her mindset quite well I think; overthinking to the extreme. Which she acknowledges, and rightly so as it will be part of her legitimate anxiety she has struggled with.
I just wish she could see the effect this has on her poor son. Overthinking every tiny thing and reacting like it's a huge deal (which was evident right from the birth), finding problems and flaws in everything, overreacting to normal baby/toddler situations, under reacting to challenges (just giving in not trying to help C learn boundaries)
She isn't completely unusual in this, loads of Mums have these issues but they don't then have family and so called health professionals enabling it and feeding it. And ultimately, she feels her livelihood depends on continuing this cycle, so it's just going to continue forever until one day she wakes up and realises the damage she has done and that she could have stopped this, got a regular writing job, socialised with normal Mums, put C into a regular nursery from early on, listened to advice for any difficulties he faced, and attended proper therapy which educated, not enabled her (and preferably weren't part of her bloody podcast).
I shall now end my regular Caroline-based rant

(my toddler is napping, I'm avoiding housework).
