Just to cheer you all up the resort she’s staying in, all inclusive in her room type in high season (which it is in the Maldives now) is just short of £8k per night for the 4 of them….without flights
So 56k for a week….round it up to £60k to include the flights, so relatable and ladies you too can do this if you make 5 meals for £25….

I mean...I do understand that if she's been popular and turned her social media into a business then of course its her right to take any ads/gifts etc she's offered.

That said - her popularity has come off the backs of families who are seriously struggling. Who were struggling before the COLC and are in an even worse position now. Families who probably can't even afford her 5 for £25 meals a lot of the time but are trying to use free resources including social media to learn to stretch their money as far as possible.

She comes across as very tone deaf here. She could have posted saying she's been offered a trip and has decided to take it. She'll be on holiday for 2 weeks but she's scheduled some recipes or whatever in the meantime. She's super lucky and appreciates every single one of her followers and she has the means now to do some sort of giveaway or give back. You'll never convince me she couldn't just do a cash giveaway...say an aldi gift voucher for £100 to 5 families to feed them for 4 weeks. Something.

The way she's gone about it is what's rubbed me the wrong way. She's posted every detail of the luxury free holiday she's on knowing the majority of her audience will never be able to experience close to that. I'd be embarrassed if I was her.

She would have known there would be a backlash. I still don’t know why they asked her. Her selling point is “mums on a budget”. I don’t think the majority of her followers could have afforded one of the holidays she’s had this year (I’ve lost count of how many once in a lifetime holidays she’s had) and bought a house.
Then tries to brass it out by saying aww shucks, little old me, what did I do to deserve this? Then getting the arse lickers saying you deserve this babes.
Well I would rather work all my days in a supermarket than pimping my kids out on insta wearing their swimming costume for who knows who to look at. Those girl’s digital footprint is massive already. Plus all the stories of Addie being naughty for attention when Emmie was born. We know their names, dates of birth, if you were to walk past them, you would recognise them. It would scare me to death.
There’s no holidays in the world I would trade for that!
She’s heavily pregnant, when would you bring yourself extra stress?

I commented on a recent aldi post that she isn't relatable and their advert is misleading as she's not a struggling mum on a budget. Got absolutely hammered by the "she needs to feed her family she can make money from ads if she likes" and then my comment was deleted 🫠

I haven't gone onto her page for weeks but looked at her stories yesterday and every single one was either an ad or setting up for an ad.

By all means make some money - but it's the way she makes out she's a struggling mum and having to budget when she obviously doesn't. Consider your audience.

Also - she's minging. Stop expoiting your children for financial gain. It's disgusting. We don't need to see every minute of your babies life including them feeding and chewing a tampon. I know more about her child than I ever need to. Mumfluencers are the pits.

I don’t understand why she has been gifted that holiday. Her audience are mainly parents who are on a low income and follow her for her cheap meals. Who is she influencing to go on a £60k holiday to the Maldives?

I don’t understand how this even became a thing, to give such freebies to these absolute begs. It won’t stop but it should. Without sounding all preachy, there are some absolutely amazing, influencing people in the world who save lives, make a difference, and they deserve the world. I stopped following with the last freebie holiday. I followed for recipes, not showing off holidays by putting photos of my little girls in swimsuits online for anyone to look at (and possibly manipulate )
I couldn’t think of anything worse to go on another long haul flight (and deal with the jet lag/time difference) so soon after the last one. Poor wee ones won’t know if they are coming or going.

I deliberately DONT use any company that gives these insta huns freebies that they don’t deserve. I would be more inclined if the gave it to families who would never be able to afford it or going through a really tough time.

Helped mums who have then lined your pockets and helped pay for your house. Now you're rubbing your FREE £50k holiday in their faces basically I almost wouldn't mind if she'd paid for the holidays.
