Petra's acting has been dreadful ! Along with Alan Partridge!!
Had forgotten about Rogers affair, never understood what the women saw in him tbh!

And 5 episodes a week is not enough!!!

I agree. Petra’s acting has indeed been awful.
When Gavin died she did this over the top shaking thing ALL the time. And the bit in the supermarket with the biscuits. My god.

I read somewhere on line, the actor who played Gavin wanted to quit after a short while, shame, I loved him winding Roger up!!

Yes they were uploaded on Wednesday as normal. They’ve split them into series now so look for Series 2 & Series 3

The latest ones are the tail end of Series 2 and the 1st one in Series 3 so the ones you need are:

S2: E91 - E94 and S3: E95

Look out for the lovely aubergine colour corner bath!!

Going back to last week's, I found that Alan really creepy, taking a pic of Lucy in her tennis gear then that girl who Barry brought home, and Paul Collins with her.

Lots of gratuitous scenes of Roger in the near nuddy. Amanda Burton is great as Heather - compared to some terrible acting from others, she stands out as a good actress.
The Alan Partridge character is a bit daft. Awful acting and Samantha has to be the worst actress I have ever viewed on TV

Yeah i thought the same. He seems a pointless character tbh. Him and Sam are ridiculous.

I couldn’t get the latest 5 on sky either, I’ve found it rubbish. Some weeks they are there sometimes they take days. I got them today through the STV app on the tv but you can’t FF the ads

I watch via the app and have noticed there's soo many ads!

I'm up to date with all the episodes so far! They've changed the format of the episodes now and put them into series/original air dates, well confusing me!

Wasn't around for these early series of Brookside so very much enjoying it, and the fashions and hair styles! Seems very dated of course in many respects. Wish they'd upload more than 5 episodes a week!

I didn’t watch the very early episodes either. Sky dont make it easy to find the new ones. They’re all over the place!
Don’t remember Harry Cross’s wife. She cant have been in it long. Didn’t he end up in a bungalow?
I think the thing that stands out for me is the language they use. More so derogatory terms in particular. Ofcom would have a field day if it was now!!
Also i cant help but think of Marie and the character she was in Shirley Valentine
