open for suggestions until 8pm Saturday 26th,
open for any final likes until 12noon on Monday 28th.
Hello all. The comments about Reminders of Him have all been interesting to read, some I agree with, some I didn't. I find Colleen Hoover's books a bit easy and samey. That said I feel like it was a decent book for us to rebegin the book club here as it certainly provided some talking books be they on simple things as character name choices or bigger things such as plot turns and twists.
March Book Club Choice
As we are nearing the end of the month I'd like to ask for nominations for next month's book. I can't remember if it was on this thread or the other book one but I think there was a general consensus that if say February's book had been from the thriller genre the next month's book should be from a different genre so that we aren't just reading thriller after thriller and to give people who don't enjoy thrillers the chance to jump in and join reading say a romance book or whatever other genre it is.
Reminders of Him is listed as a romance book on Amazon, therefore I'd welcome suggestions for next month's book from our thriller/historical/horror/sci-fi/autobiography/non fiction/whatever else that isn't romance readers.
We'll leave it open for suggestions until 8pm Saturday 26th, then leave it open for any final likes until 12noon on Monday 28th, when I'll go through and write down in order by most likes (I have just realised I didn't post the list by likes for last month's choices, sorry. The top two both had 12 likes each and I then used the random wheel generator to decide between the two, the next book had 11 likes and then 3 more had over 8 likes so it really is only a few likes in it)
Please feel free to suggest any (non romance) books you have suggested before. As with last month we will go with the most liked book in a single post, or in the event of a tie I'll use a random wheel generator to decide.
Please put "March Nomination" in your post so that it is clear you are making a suggestion.
Happy suggesting! Hopefully it is a book that will generate as much, if not more, than the February choice did.
open for any final likes until 12noon on Monday 28th.

Book Club January - Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin
I liked this one, but in a way that I like all CH books. I love the romance, but like someone else said, I feel like once I’ve read one, I’ve read them all. Not sure anything would beat november 9 for me though!
