Boast about what you have achieved today

Thought I'd start a thread where we can boast about our small daily achievements.

I'll start - I made a really nice dinner for me and the kids. I bought yellow sticker mince from tesco yesterday, fried it up with spices, parsley, coriander, heated tortilla wraps on the frying pan, and had it with cheese, salsa and sour cream.

I'm really lazy about domestic stuff so that was a major achievement for me today.

Anyone else want to boast?

I told a coworker no today. It sounds silly but I always overload myself because I am so nervous about saying 'no, I am too busy'. I think I'm scared of being seen as lazy/inadequate/bad at my job.

But today I did say it and the sky didn't fall down!

My teen got into Uni today, just feel really proud as a parent and feel like it’s a major achievement especially the hours I sat homeschooling him through Covid

I started some decluttering and am just back from dropping three bags of clothes to the recycling bank and my recycling bin is filling up nicely too.

Lots more to do but I am happy with what I got through today.

I made banana bread with my youngest, managed 15k steps and watched 3 episodes of At Home with the Furys

I just brought the washing in instead of leaving it on the line for a second night in a row.
