@ChubbyBunny it’s unlikely that anyone selling spells on Etsy is legit so my gut feeling is that this probably won’t work. However, there are a couple of important things to understand if you are going to mess with magic, and those things mean that it would actually be much better for you in the long run if it doesn’t.
The first thing is there is no such thing as white magic or black magic, it’s all about the intent with which the spell is cast. The second thing is the ‘3 fold rule’ which means that whatever a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times. If your Etsy ‘witch’ didn’t tell you this before you got involved she should have done.
Generally black magic seeks the selfish advancement of an individual and the spell you paid for falls into that category. However heartbroken you are and however badly you feel you have been treated you should understand that none of us have a right to be with someone else. They have to want to be with us too. A person can’t be stolen like a handbag, they have to want to go.
As others have pointed out would you really want your ex back because he was coerced by magic? That’s not a real relationship. And that’s where your 3 fold rule would probably kick in - you’d get him back but not in the way you want or in a way that would make you happy.
