I still maintain she isn’t well. Her chest sounds horrible.
Where is the wee one when she’s making these videos? I wouldn’t be taking my eyes off him. He’s so tiny and not feeding.
Did she say she was going to go and pick up a breakfast?
Somebody needs to get her a good shop in and help her look after herself and the older kids, as well as the baby.
I hope the midwives call regularly. I don’t remember them coming in twos to me. Perhaps they were expecting resistance?

The fact shes saying baby still isn't feeding great is concerning, it doesnt matter if only x amount of hours old. Hes probably content because hes no energy to cry as he hasn't fed properly. Does anyone believe the midwives actually called? 2 of them in the evening?

I thought it odd I’ve never known them to call in the evening , the latest they called to me was lunchtime and only one as they’re so short staffed.

I think the midwives probably did call. It was probably late afternoon. I would imagine they sent two because they didn’t know what response they would get. Whether she is being truthful about what they said is another matter.
I think 5lb is the cut off for a baby being allowed to go home. If he falls below 5lb they are likely to admit him.
She said she gave him a bottle last night. I doubt she’d even know if he’d latched on properly, given her lack of experience. If he’s not feeding, he is likely to become jaundiced.
I am just hoping the midwives will keep a close eye on him.
His lack of feeding is concerning in a number of levels - she’s an absolute idiot.
My eldest daughter was a terrible feeder. She was jaundiced and in a biliblanket. I had to get at least 2oz into her every 2hrs. If she wasn’t feeding they told me I had to strip her and sprinkle cold water on her to keep her awake - it was a nightmare. She was a healthy 7lb 4 and two weeks overdue. She wasn’t allowed home until feeding regularly.
