I’m so conflicted by this thread 😖
I still follow but muted stories because her constant fitness/eating habits were making me feel negative. But I still love her Better Being products and support that small business.
I completely understand. I get this way about her too, until I eventually deleted Instagram, because it was really doing a number on my mental health.

I noticed my ED flare up when I followed her, there are so many red flags with her.

As someone who is also studying dietetics, I find it baffling that she is doing it full time alongside full time work, her own business, AND on top of that having a full blown workout routine.

I understand mental health is a fickle thing, and I applaud her for recognising what helps ease her hard days, but ED’s are sooooo manipulative, that they will “justify” anything in order to stay in control.

I also bought her bars, and didn’t think they were anything mind blowing, but I didn’t mind supporting a small business. I won’t be buying anymore, because they weren’t so amazing that I needed them.

First time poster here - I am posting from a place of concern as someone that has done the full recovery of an eating disorder when I look at Stephs posts I just feel so sad for her as she is still 1000 percent in the rabbit hole of her ED and behaviours. A huge part of an ED is this need to control the situation and structure and routine no matter what - lack of flexibility etc and unfortunately Steph can’t see she is still holding on to these behaviours. No matter what anyone else around her tells her these behaviours will be in play until she chooses to get and commit to full uncontrolled recovery

She 💯 binge eats. She’s certainly not fat at all but the lifestyle she portrays and the way she looks so not add up one bit
Okay look I don’t know why I’m so invested in this poor girl but I am and here we are! Today I did look at her bod (I hate to do this to others as it’s not right ) but this comment stuck in my mind I think there has to be something going on with this poor girls bod to sustain her life on such little food… or is it the age old we only see a snippet of one’s life on social media ?

Glad I stumbled across this thread. I had to unfollow her a while ago, her lifestyle is so unhealthy and unsustainable. I wish she'd get proper help.

I had to unfollow Steph quite awhile ago, her content was super unhealthy and it’s promoting such an unrealistic lifestyle, there is absolutely no balance and overall body image wasn’t positive to see on a daily basis, her workout schedule with weights and cardio was just obsessive.

up at 3:45 am to go to the gym before work. That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. The only time I get up for the day at 3:45am is for an early morning flight honestly!
Also 7 hours sleep for someone who does that much exercise/work/uni just isn’t enough.

I also find it quite sad she is going to bed at 7:45pm, her life seems miserable. Full time work/full time uni.

I haven't checked in on her in a while...she's some sort of nutritionist coach now?? That is seriously disturbing given her own super disordered relationship with food and exercise. What advice is she giving? Get up at 3am to exercise and live off Weetabix?

she needs to chill out!
She’s working full time and studying full time and also trying to keep doing her ED fuelled exercise regime.

“already taken my rest days” sounds like she isn’t enjoying the workouts, everything to do with Steph is just so so unhealthy.

I actually feel sorry for the girl, she can’t see how disordered she is at the moment.

she doesn’t look overly well – she looks absolutely exhausted, running a half marathon looks like the last thing she should be doing – she really needs to ease up on the exercise.!
I do worry with her past that she is doing too much exercise still. It seems she still feels she has to exercise in order to feel OK with herself.

I’m sorry, WHY the need to walk for 2 hours on a ReST dAy? Like, what? Am I missing something? Isn’t a rest day, um, I don’t know, a REST DAY?

this is dinner? A tin of spring water tuna and some steamed vegetables? No rice or carbs? Why would she even be posting this disordered meal?

I thought she was a receptionist? Why would she be alone in the office with no clients or other staff? She seems the type to do unpaid overtime.

Agree, where is the line between disciplined and disordered? I imagine her latest calorie deficit isn’t doing much so can see her again ramping up her restrictions and rules. So the cycle continues
she did one hour on the stairmaster yesterday morning followed by a 30min treadmill walk! “marathon training” apparently.

she keeps talking about these "long shifts" at work… They are eight hours , which I consider a normal shift at my office, not a long one 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again - she 💯 binge eats. She shows us what she wants to and then binges or she’d be teeny tiny.

There can’t be enough calories in these meals to sustain an adult female, let alone the amount of exercise and walking she does
