I am. It’s making me feel really mad. Good lord I hope women aren’t really treated like this after an assault 😢

I work in sexual offences and can offer some reassurance that 1. The forensic examination is NOTHING like they showed and 2. there’s been a big change in policing whether rather than prove the credibility of the victim, it’s to prove the credibility of the suspect. I know it should have always been like that though 😔 It’s called operation Soteria.

It’s interesting hearing from someone with experience

It was a hard watch, so angry at the police how they treated those poor women.
This really got to me when one of the victims of John Worboys stated that not being believed by the police was "almost worse than the grape itself". 🙁

Watched it all yesterday.i was sad/angry the way those woman where treated. I know things have changed since then but woman are still hesitant in report with crimes due the shockingly low conviction rate (3%).

Just watched last night's it was a tough watch but I think it was acted really well
the treatment of the victim was appalling glad to hear things are changing in favour of the victims albeit slowly, its so sad that the conviction rate is so low

Just the last episode to watch!
Really enjoying it, but as others have commented, it was awful seeing how the women were treated!

What a creepy Predator he is. I hooe he never gets freed. Daniel Mays is a great actor and this reminds me how vunerable it feels getting an Uber as a lone woman. We are at such risk all the time.

I usually like Daniel but he absolutely repulses me in this. Shows what a good actor he is!

Why inappropriate?

It feels weird saying I enjoyed a program about a real life rapist
I enjoy dramas like this based on real life events. I don’t know why and it does feel wrong, but there’s something fascinating about it. It does feel strange because I don’t like the fact that someone has been murdered or grape.

I resisted the temptation to binge watch it so just finished it now and didn’t realise that the blonde woman was playing Carrie Johnson, wife of Boris. 😱
