I can’t stand seeing this hash tag anymore as it’s almost always shared by people who are bitchy on social media, and used as a get out clause.
Sorry i must be cynical.
The people who use 'Be Kind' often turn out to be the biggest bullies.

The Internet is full of it now, they'll preach be kind but as soon as you say something they don't disagree they'll quickly turn against you.

I read this article the other day on the #bekind mantra:

Totally agree with the bit in the article about it being asg as meaningless as "it's OK to not be OK". I always felt that was saying, it's OK to feel shit but I'm not actuallygoing to do anything about it to help you

I find the “manifesters” are just a bougee #bekind breed. “I’m not letting anyone bring me down. I’m on a higher vibration, you can’t handle my energy” yada yada. Positive affirmations can be great but persistent talk of the universe providing and getting rid of “negative people” 🤮

I seem to remember Clemmie Hooper banging on about being kind whilst behaving in a bitchy, nasty way herself. It’s always the nasty ones that think they can do as they please whilst dictating that we are all ‘kind’

My kind of people! I like it. When influencers have been jetting off here there and everywhere during a pandemic but you arent allowed to hold them accountable because they just HAD to go on that boat party and snog a random lad for their mental health (Anastasia Kingsnorth) - be kind though.
They ask a question on Twitter, someone answers it, influencer responds back in a rude way (Gabriella Lindley) - be kind though (only to me)
I dont get how going to your 6th illegal party in a week is for your mental health but if you ever dare bring it up it's always oh be kind, think of Caroline Flack. They're just massively taking the piss out of mental health and it's all being treated as one big joke. You cannot say be kind and then sit blocking everyone who has an opinion on you. Be kind also applies to you (influencers). I saw a TikTok the other day of a girl at uni in her room having a meet up with her friend on Zoom while next door her flatmate was throwing a massive party. Anyone agreeing with the girl (she said they were stupid) were told it's important for mental health and "be kind". You know what's kind? Being fucking respectful

Before the “Be Kind” movement, it was bible thumpers with bumper stickers “Random Acts of Kindness” - always the worst types. Do as I say, not as I do.
