BBC - Time to Defund It

Honestly the main things I hate about the BBC is the disgusting salarys these people are paid, the fact they tried to cover up all these slim balls like savile, the people who have been silenced all these years because of them wanting to keep it quiet, am not sure if they have done it or not but the taking away the free licence for the elderly which mainly of whom it's probably the only entertainment they have since I'd imagine many may not know how to work streaming sites an the BBC will know that so therefore know they will get money from them, also the fact they send these "bully boys" round to people's doors to harass (mainly woman) to pay

Personally I don't gaf what's on the TV an its not the TV itself I hate, it's the running of the BBC I hate, it's the bullying an the fact they think they are all untouchable, and if it wasn't for social media who knows if all this disgusting tit about them would even have come out in the open

I agree with @Snippysnips. Personally I quite enjoy a BBC show, however their control of any live tv is unjust. They should have no say on anything except BBC channels. I would be in favour of adverts like the rest.

We have two properties. We aren’t rich, we have a v modest house and a very very tiny property many miles from our house that we use as a work base for 3 or 4 days a week, and will eventually help to fund our retirement as we have awful pensions. We have a licence for the house but Capita have chased us relentlessly about the second place and it boils my blood. No, we aren’t watching tv there, but even if we were, we’d be watching it there and not at home, so why on earth should we ‘have’ to have 2 licences?

We’re at an impasse now. They’ve agreed to stop chasing me for a year, ‘but may send someone out to verify the situation’.

Fill yer boots, lads, you’re not coming in. Bloody cheek.
