Saw on Twitter that the yanks have reported it as a “BBC News Anchor”… unsure if true.
Sorry pommo, I missed most of what was said today because I just couldn't keep up while I was at work.I feel like this needs to be said again - there is no confirmed welsh link! That's an internet rumour.
At this point, I think it probably is HE just because no one else who is still in the ring seems high profile enough. But there is no confirmed welsh link - that's not a thing. The only things we 100% know for sure about the person in question is it's a high profile male member of staff at the BBC.

I can't stand Tom Jones but there's no way it's him - they would have said singer, not BBC presenter.
Apart from the million times over the past day & a half? Why has no one mentioned Jay Blades from The Repair Shop
didn’t she say she HADN’T worked with him before?Mared Perry also confirmed it was a fellow journalist and that she’d worked with him before she protected her tweets. Wish I’d taken screenshots!
I haven't followed all the pages on the Celeb Gossip thread so maybe I'd missed it... i didn't see Blades mentioned among the names on TwitterApart from the million times over the past day & a half?
Yes - she definitely said she hadn't worked with him before, not that she had.didn’t she say she HADN’T worked with him before?
Going from the Matthew Steeples live blog last night, one of the clues was, Wales will be reeling, so assuming from that he’s Welsh. From what I’ve been reading, are we assuming this person is welsh, done tv and radio? Or is this certain? Wondered if anyone thought about Robbie Savage.
you’re right she did - I’ll edit my postIt's assumed only, not confirmed about the welsh thing. TV is definitely confirmed, not sure about radio.

No, she said she'd never worked with him.
We don't know that this is a reliable source though.Going from the Matthew Steeples live blog last night, one of the clues was, Wales will be reeling, so assuming from that he’s Welsh.
bugger. I don’t know how to edit my postMared Perry also confirmed it was a fellow journalist and that she worked with him before she protected her tweets. Wish I’d taken screenshots!
He presents Monday to Thursday but he doesn’t present every night, the BBC have a roster of Huw, Clive, Sophie Raworth and Reeta Chakraborti. Wonder what happened to Kate Silverton?Does HE present Mon to Fri only? Or usually weekends also?

The more I think about this, the more it make sense. He presents a show which would be "enjoyable" - the mother said she used to enjoy watching "the man" on TV.Why has no one mentioned Jay Blades from The Repair Shop
