Saw on Twitter that the yanks have reported it as a “BBC News Anchor”… unsure if true.

I feel like this needs to be said again - there is no confirmed welsh link! That's an internet rumour.

At this point, I think it probably is HE just because no one else who is still in the ring seems high profile enough. But there is no confirmed welsh link - that's not a thing. The only things we 100% know for sure about the person in question is it's a high profile male member of staff at the BBC.

Going from the Matthew Steeples live blog last night, one of the clues was, Wales will be reeling, so assuming from that he’s Welsh.

I didn’t realise HE is married with 5 kids. At this point, I almost hope it is him as his name has been dragged through the mud which would be awful if he is innocent. Though his silence on the matter is starting to become deafening.

He presents Monday to Thursday but he doesn’t present every night, the BBC have a roster of Huw, Clive, Sophie Raworth and Reeta Chakraborti. Wonder what happened to Kate Silverton?

Why has no one mentioned Jay Blades from The Repair Shop

The more I think about this, the more it make sense. He presents a show which would be "enjoyable" - the mother said she used to enjoy watching "the man" on TV.

Hes definitely a household name - my 70 year old in laws know him

Theres been some speculation there's a connection to the Coronation - there was a repair shop special with the then Prince Charles.

I wouldn't bet on him but its not the most ludicrous suggestion.
