Well the crappy weather has hit us now in the UK and my headaches are back. Does anyone have any advice on how to combat these headaches?

I bought one of those cooling pillows - like a gel insert that can go in the fridge - from amazon. It doesn’t cure it but I find if I lie with it under my neck it does ease them a bit. Feel for you - it’s horrible isn’t it?

Desperate to know too, nothing helps at all. I stay hydrated, take painkillers, wear my glasses, try to sleep it off and nothing helps!

I make sure to drink enough water and perhaps a coffee as I find caffeine can help. Sometimes this is enough to keep it at an okay level.
But if it really hits me there is nothing I can do except suffer or sleep it off.

I was almost going to post the same thread because the headaches have been so severe lately. Unfortunately I haven’t found a solution beyond the obvious - drinking water, getting fresh air, lying down in a dark room with a cold washcloth on my forehead.
I feel your pain and hope the air pressure improves soon.

Pop your sheets and pillowcases in the freezer before bed, and keep your bedroom cool at night. Avoid hot drinks, chocolate and alcohol at any stage during the day and night. Hang a wet sheet in front of a partially-opened window (if you can) during the day and night, to keep the room cool. Apply peppermint oil to the back and sides of your neck, behind your ears, and on your temples, a couple of times throughout the day.

These are all things I do when I feel a migraine come on; I hope some of them help someone.

PS: Take Panadol with a glass of Coca Cola ... not sure why, but it seems to work faster - maybe the caffeine stimulates it or something (even though I avoid caffeine in general when I'm feeling this way).

I'm about to buy a migraine headband from Amazon for mine to see if that works (going to look completely ridiculous but dont really mind that 😂)

I'd also second @Nfylt suggestion - I bought a chillow from Argos last summer and its great when I have a really bad headache to lie on - would recommend when it's hot anyway as it does keep it's cool if you leave it in the fridge all day.
