Hi guys, bit of a strange one here but hopefully someone can shed some light!

Someone I know of has recently been jailed for ignoring his court order of being banned from being around children under 16 years old.

There is no mention of why he was banned but the obvious springs to mind when you hear that.

Myself and friends have never had any reason to suggest he is a bad person.

He does however suffer from bad mental health and times and has bipolar. He has often went missing for a few days and has had ambulances at his house that he has called for himself.

Does anyone know of any other reasons to suggest why someone would have this court order? Can mental health be the case?
Thanks in advance guys!

I think he has maybe been involved with someone who was underage, and been reported, which has led to a prosecution.

I have known 2 adults in their 20s ,who have had relationships with teenagers and have ended up on the register after the relationship ended. ( one was unaware how old the girl they were dating was , apparently).

Perhaps he isn't a bad person, but he has ended up in a situation that has spiralled out of control.

Thank you for your reply!
Oh no that’s what I was fearful of.

I just had assumed that it would of gave a brief reason in the online article why he was banned as some usually do but I guess not always!
