Bread Ahead’s chocolate brownies are immense. You can find the recipe here. I would just halve the quantities because it makes a lot!

My go-to cake for is orange and almond because it’s pretty foolproof and is gluten free. Plus it’s not too sweet and tastes grown up so good for a dinner party dessert as well with a bit of mascarpone. I tried it first in the restaurant Polpo so it’s their recipe I follow but I know there are a number of others.

For cookies I swear by the BBC goodfood millies cookie recipe.
Sometimes I'll put white choc buttons in, instead of chocolate chips
Delicious 😜

I like to try recipes from magazines, on line and of course handed down family recipes. A few weeks ago, I tried to follow an on line recipe for Cornish saffron cake - with disasterous results. It ended up like an uncooked marzipan brick. I thought about putting it out for the birds to eat, but that would have been cruelty to animals!

Anyone know a decent blonde recipe? I don’t rate them but wondered if anyone had a decent one
I’ve tried a few recipes after a google search and they were all quite nice but the most important factor to me was how long they are baked. I got it right ones. Never since. I just can’t do it 😂😂😂
