Threads are definitely quieter. Everyone waiting for the AFP to bust down their doors for not gushing their praise at influencers.

Charlie Kirk said if your airline pilot is black you should be concerned they are not qualified due to DEI policies. Amongst many many other slurs, comments and opinions that contributed to violence and hate. I dunno why anyone gives a fuck about that asshole.

Gahhhh. This is where I stand right now too. Although, I don’t think I’ve said too many mean things, I’ve definitely added to things I wish I didn’t. I don’t want to be a mean girl, and I definitely have not brought my children up that way. I’m so torn with my feelings right now too. You are not alone.
I’m with both of you.
I stopped commenting here a while ago because I felt bad, and this whole tattle news issue has just made me feel worse.
But I’m in two minds.

I don’t want to track down addresses of influencers, I’m not going to comment on how the children look, and I don’t want to perpetuate rumours about affairs…

But on the other hand, some influencers are dishonest and toxic. They SHOULD be held accountable but they’re not. They block and dox and set their minions on followers for the smallest issues.

There’s a tattler in the Sarah Kearns thread who tried to reach out to Sarah about losing a baby. The response was incredibly rude.

It just feels like a lawless society on instagram with no accountability.

There’s a woman in prison at the moment… I can’t remember her name. Is it Ruby? After she was charged a lot of followers came out and said they thought there were issues with her but didn’t know how to speak out. So places like Tattle are important.

I don’t know. I’m rambling… there needs to be some accountability because literally ANYONE can have a platform these days.

What is the crime here ? Critical thinking 🤣

If any of the influencers did recieve death threats and are still posting their children online. Shame on them.

Stop rage baiting and go sit in a corner and cry. No kid should grow up without their father
No kid should be giving birth after being raped, nor should any kid be shot in their classroom, nor should they have to listen to genuine white supremacist tirades. Yet they do and the man that died explicitly advocated for that. Very sad for his children (who deserve better parents than they have) and my heart goes out to them. But I am not mourning that man.

As per your “it happens in America not Australia” comment - in a digital world everything that happens anywhere has some influence. The number of Australian people who have posted about this and NOT denounced his views and instead claimed that he was a “good” man scares the shit out of me. His perspective was pure evil. Where was his compassion for the kids who died in school shootings? Nowhere. Their deaths were and are “worth it” to protect the second amendment. Cruel.

Mod edit, there are threads in offtopic to discuss this so that this thread stays on topic. Thanks!

I’d personally hire a Tattler in a heartbeat, they’d be an asset to a business to have some critical thinking ability!

Can someone smarter than me explain what this is about?
Interesting.
Because to me tattle
Is a place to vent without trolling or negative
Comments on their pages.
If they didn’t look on tattle they wouldn’t read about themselves.

Why do we have to make separate threads for everyone? I love having all the tea in one thread and find it hard to keep up with the zillion threads haha! That's just me being selfish and lazy though!
I feel the same. Like ok some people need their own thread like Kearns, Cachia etc but sometimes people seem to get annoyed by conversation here I think and instead someone gets a really quiet boring thread. I sort of like following bits and pieces in this thread and just scroll past it I don’t know the influencer. A new thread either means I have to follow them more closely or just stop altogether.

The thing that will always baffle me is that these idiots realise that they choose to read here right? No self respecting Tattler comments on their profiles. We keep it on here. They could just not read it if they are so fragile, or perhaps stop trying to scam people on social media

It's fucking white bread and jam.

They haven't given her a bacon, ham and salami sandwich toasted in beef dripping.

FFS shut up you cow. Your shitty attitude isn't gonna help you recover.

Also I'm guessing if you've had bowel surgery you're on a low fibre diet too

Daily mail, gossip magazines and reddit all have anonymous snark content. Every celebrity or public figure on earth has people running constant commentary about them online. If you make yourself a public persona then you have to expect scrutiny. I don’t feel sorry for any influencer who has been a fuckwit and thus has been discussed here.

I don’t have especially strong feelings about Carly either way but this did make me roll my eyes.

I'm a bit sad that Tattle has died. Is everyone gossiping somewhere else? Or just given up exposing influencers? Consumerism wins again.

Interesting that Sarah was doing collabs with The Figure a couple of years ago but has posted this today. Good on her for calling it out 👏
