Exactly! They need a cuddle and to feel safe not screamed at. That house would feel like a boot camp
She has them in separate bedrooms, alone, fae away from her.
If you're going to be an old school tough love mother lock them in their rooms with a nightlight on, and ignore their crying and nonsense. But don't complain about your interrupted sleep because if you were that desperate you'd sleep in the bed together.

It surprises me that the kids still go to her considering how she meets them...poor things must be so afraid of sleeping alone if they're prepared to deal with making mummy angry.

When you read as you obviously do.Your such a witch with your kids. Would a cuddle go astray when your child's having a nightmare. Why on earth did you have kids. And don't tell us you love your kids. 
Pete has no issues with sleep because he actually works that's why.
And if he had no issues with sleep, can sleep anywhere, WHY ISNT HE GETTING UP AND COMFORTING THE GIRLS BACK TO SLEEP??

Done?! They’re bleeping 3 and 4 (or 4 and 5, I forget). Point is, they’re still little children, really little. It’s not like they’re 13 and 14. ducks sake
My 12 year old has night terrors and sleep walks and my 14 year old still comes in to my room because he can't sleep or has a bad dream.

She's actually so fking awful
If she’s such a light sleeper and that’s the reason the girls can’t sleep with her, why can she then share a bed with Pete? Her being a light sleeper is an excuse, she doesn’t want to do the hard work when it comes to transitioning ( not training ash, they aren’t dogs) back into their own beds. Can you imagine waking up from a nightmare to a pitch black room having to fumble your way downstairs to find your mum and dad and then being sent back to that dark room. A+ parenting Ash. Your kids are going to grow up and be no contact with you and their dad. You don’t want to screw them up but you are!
She knows the nightmares are caused by the rooms being hot but does nothing to mitigate this.
I think she said Pete doesn’t mind having the kids in their bed. Probably conflict there too. He also gets up early and goes to work. She goes to the gym, gets facials and leisurely shops at chaddy daily.
Poor little thing had a nightmare and just wanted someone to reassure her and cuddle her and tell her it's ok. Instead this witch of a mother, just sends her back to bed up all those stairs. As if getting into bed with them or they getting in bed with you when they have a bad dream will be a habit. For crying out loud Clem's was scared pure and simple. Nothing to do with you ash wanting to duck your sleeping up.But we all know it's always about poor you. These dear little girls are going to be tough little nuts when they grow up all because of the mothers attitude. Very sad. No love whatsoever in this house.
