That was ridiculous. No love, you “working from home” is not working from home. I’m working from home full days while still doing drop off, pick up, washing, housework, kids activities. Not swanning about to “chaaadddstooooonnnnne” two days in a row. Why stuff around going there one day to return stuff which then makes you rush around late in the day when you were going there the next day for an event?
It’s called meal planning, planning the week ahead, juggling chores and kids activities, trying to fit time in for yourself while also working a proper job. Not a few hours talking into your phone and filming videos flogging crap.
Don’t go to the shops every day to get groceries for dinner, do it once a week, get a top up of some things if you need it but seriously, whinging about “working from home” being boring. You get paid to talk into your phone, go to events and be gifted free stuff. Waaahhhh!
This is all a choice! I can’t just flit off to a fancy lunch or event in the middle of my work day.

and I laughed so hard at the “my kids don’t do this”, like her little angels are perfect and never naughty. Newsflash, if your kids are up, you should be up too. She should have a baby monitor or movement monitor so she can hear/knows when they are getting up or get her butt out of bed before they usually do. It’s not the first time, they’ve been doing this for ages, getting up and eating her treats from the pantry, dressing up etc, this was the logical next step especially because I bet mummy made a huge fuss over the new office and furniture and how special it is. The girls probably went oh fuck yeah, let’s make it even more special because mum just focuses on appearances and material things.

Absolutely cackling at what she’s packing on the plane. Big bulky barbie packaging with tiny little accessories that will get dropped and lost in the first 2 minutes, hard plastic packaging that they will be throwing at ash and Pete when they demand the next toy. Oh and the “see it fits” in the backpacks. Ah yes, the backpacks are only for carrying the barbies, now I remember
It will be even better when they go through customs and the packages get unwrapped in front of the kids but they can’t have them.
what about some new colouring books, puzzles etc and load up an iPad each? She wasn’t allowed to have barbies so I assume the controlling nature Apple fall far from the tree.
the best thing she can do is be prepared for it to be a shitshow and set expectations low.

I have had some moments where I’ve lost my shit and thought afterwards, wow, you need to calm the fuck down and sort yourself out. And then apologised and repaired with my kids. It’s usually when I’m overstimulated, stressed out, just fucking having a hard time. It’s usually been after a hard week/month so I get the frustration. But holy shit, pick your battles. If you can’t carry the bags, strap them to the pram so she can go in or drive there. Of course she wants to go in the pram, she’s a 3 year old who sees her pram and wants to go in it. Just drive if it’s a battle. Kids are stubborn and sometimes want something even if it doesn’t make sense. But Ash can’t seem to look past what she needs to do/wants to do/wants things to look like. Sorry but kids and life in general don’t always so what you want.
Take some time to calm down, pick your battles, get some goddamn therapy or medication because others are right, if this is what is posted publicly, it’s a worry what happens in private.
I’m ashamed of myself when I’ve lost my shit, I’m actually going back to therapy now to get some better strategies as the last few years have pushed me to my limit at times.
