What an ungrateful bitch. Said her dad bought her that alpaca hat when she was younger, that supposedly costs hundreds and he was asking (or telling her) if she's taking it to Japan. She's probably never worn it until now.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the story with the girls opening their Barbies before the flight and their reactions and little voices saying "Thank you Mummy" while Ash smiled nicely was actually so wholesome. It's one of the only positive, calm and real (not filmed for an add etc) interactions I've seen on her page.

The calm before the storm I'm guessing

To me, that story shows exactly why she is the way she. Her dad bought her a random expensive fur hat when she was a teenager and now 20ish years later is still reminding her of how he bought her that expensive hat and how she better use it. Who does that? If you buy your teenager a stupidly expensive fur hat, then that’s your own stupid fault. But clearly she’s had those values drilled into her that expensive is best and don’t you forget I spent x amount on you 20 years ago and you must keep it and use it. Most parents would be like “oh hey remember when we went skiing as kids? That was so fun” or “remember that silly hat, what a laugh” not nag your adult child to use something you bought two decades ago.
Between not being allowed to have barbies and this crap, I can see why she’s so rigid

I would just think someone with a mask on a flight like that is an idiot!!! Is the flight to Japan that long seriously!!!!

Ash never not sounds like a scabby bogan until she remembers on the odd occasion to codeswitch to a fake posh eastern suburbs accent. It's so cringe.
