Couldn't see a post for this, not sure if I've missed it or not but would love to see all your arts an crafts, I love seeing it for inspiration

Also I just ordered myself some resin an clay, has anyone else done anything with them? I was thinking about making keyrings but not sure how easy or hard that might be, last time I worked with clay was school but this will be first time working with resin, do they need a ton of tools? I just got some basic beginner tools

I started making resin art last year. Keyrings are actually nice and simple, as are things like coasters and small trays. Make sure you have a clear surface and enough space. If you want to make things coloured get some Micah powder or glitters - we can mix them in as you mix up the resin to pour. Always wear gloves, always That stuff is a nightmare to get off your hands, and gloves are a life saver.

You can get some good moulds on Amazon, and stock up on lolly pop sticks/stirrers to help mix your resin together. And a tray sounds really stupid but I always end up with resin dripping so using a tray saves on a panicked clean up

My first ever item I crocheted, made it for my neice, didn't think I'd fall in love with crochet as much as I have, it's really relaxing to do, kind of screwed up the sewing through but hopefully when it's on it won't be noticeable as much lol, excited to see what my neice thinks of it although she will probably just swing it about

I'm into sea glass right now. I live near a beach and have collected about 4 tonnes of glass. Now I'm using it make cards.

In the spring / summer I pick plants (responsibly) and press them. Throughout the rest of the year I keep finding dried petals, leaves and grasses that I've forgotten I put under piles of books.

I tried sewing but failed at it lol, I'd love to see your wok though

All the glitter fell to the bottom of the mould maybe next time I should use less, I wanted the glitter to be all spaced out inside

This was a quilt and little outfits I made for my friends new baby, and a couple outfits for my niece with matching ones for her doll! I do bandanas for the dogs too!

I've used resin before for key rings etc...quite liked it but always found it shrunk away from the edge a little and left it looking a bit untidy. Just recently resined a table in my hubby's man cave/bar though (a wooden cable reel with bottle caps on) and that worked out really well.

Last year I got really into making wire and bead trees they are really relaxing to make but a bit fiddly till you get the hang of it.

Right now I am knitting, taught myself over Christmas and now on with a fair isle hot water bottle cover for my daughter and matching cushions for her bed. Really enjoying the knitting but cant get on with long needles so using interchangeable ones and love them. I crochet too so trying to alternate projects between both.

I love diamond painting - it's a cross between a mosaic and a paint-by-numbers, where you put little resin 'diamonds' on a sticky canvas which has the right spaces marked. It's great for mindfullness.

I'm also getting into making mini collages (business card sized) - I'd be interested in card making but I wouldn't have a use for them so this scratches that itch - and it's small enough that if it doesn't work out then it's no big deal.

Oh nice, I actually just started the diamond art myself recently, got some for my Xmas, found it to be really relaxing, got mine done in just under a week with a few hours each night, this is mine, am looking forward to doing the others

I got this, it seems to come with everything you need, I used different gloves though, I have those surgical blue ones in the house so I had them on, but overall everything else is there to get you started apart from the mould but I think you can get some cheap ones on amazon as well

My little letters I made, they are still a bit soft though, do they properly harden? Or do that stay like that soft gummy type? They are only a few hours off being 24h, I put them back in the mould for now incase I ruin the shape

I love them so much, its hard to find homemade baby clothes here an they are always so much more adorable than the shops ones, I wish I had that talent to make clothes for kids an myself

Thank you, they are so useful if like me you never put things back where they belong. hang these over the oven door or drawer handle and there they stay.

These types of quilts are just straight lines you could do it! I followed Melanie Hams make your first quilt YouTube tutorials it is honestly just easy!

Im getting more confident changing the thread I always get nervous the whole thing will jam up need to stock up on a few more supplies to make bigger things

So far I’ve done a headband and scrunchies from an old silk shirt that ripped it’s nice to get more use out of the fabric
