- I hate morning and evenings, I peak about lunch time and it’s all downhill from there.
- I will tell people exactly what I think, with no tact or diplomacy probably offending them in the process. Am also super quiet and awkward until I get to know someone.
- Can’t do small talk or create a conversation out of nowhere. This irritates my in-laws to death who are the king and queen on small talk. I literally have a notepad of ‘things to talk about’ for when my MIL phones.
- If I don’t like a book or tv program , that’s it I won’t talk about it, show an interest in what other people are saying about it. It’s literally a closed book to me.
-Love routine and hate surprises- especially birthday or Christmas ones.

I’m annoying when I’ve had a drink or 10. Fall over a lot, crying, singing loud. I miss going on nights out!

I spent last night and most of this morning with my (es)girlfriend trying to make amends after a bad-tempered split 2 or 3 weeks ago.

During that time she highlighted a few of my "irritations", not least:-

I twirl my hair when I'm talking/listening
interrupt her in mid-flow, usually with a "...yes, but!"
spend too much time looking at my phablet rather than giving her my full attention
Never folding my clothes when I get undressed (just end up on the back of a chair)
never hang my coat properly by the loop.
making high-pitched squeaking noises like a demented dormouse on acid when I climax:oops:
Never clean up any loose hair strands in the bathtub after I've washed it.
Always leaving lights on when I've left a room
Pinching her lipstick without asking

Apart from those (and a few more I can't recall right now), we're just fine (y):ROFLMAO:

Oh yes I am.

I interrupt people and I start jobs and walk away from them.

I'm working with 1 colleague all the time at the moment and we both do the latter, it's hilarious and annoying at the same time

Oh, I've been wondering how you got on. That's quite a list! are you back together? surely you can try to focus on the interrupting, hair leaving and giving her full attention and she can just put up with the rest - they don't sound too bad. I bet she's not perfect either.

My son has had a fan on his room since the heatwave back in the first lockdown, he won’t sleep without it now
Edited to say it is quite noisy!!
My mother said when I was little I used to enjoy falling asleep to the neighbours son playing heavy metal. Odd creature

I've a tendency to interrupt .

I also hate eating in front of other people in case they can hear me chew.

Yep. I can be very indecisive and also very passive. Sometimes I genuinely do not have an opinion or preference. I have got better over time though.

I am also quite matter of fact and can't handle it when people get too emotional or deep - that annoys some of my friends as they see it as me not caring.

Agreed. My noise is entirely one sided - I'm allowed to make some - if I can hear him breathing it annoys me. I really don't think some people (me) are designed to share a bedroom.
I don’t like hearing people breathe either. Some people whistle through their nose and that drives me crackers. 🤣

I think I am a chatterbox which annoys some people. If I’m texting I won’t use “text speak” but write a full text as though I were writing an email. I think that annoys some of my family. 🤣

I also have a very good long-term memory, another thing which annoys my siblings. 🤣

I definitely am to some people.
I tend to be quite blunt, just come right out and say things which people don't always react well to!

I probably come across as a know it all. I really hate misquoted facts or people spreading incorrect or even exaggerated information so do tend to correct people when they say things they've blatantly just picked up via reading sensational headlines or click bait stuff.

I always announce what I’m about to do (talk to myself about the same, my whole day is a running commentary.) Also I will start speaking about something totally randomly that’s popped up in my head and expect my husband to know what I’m talking about. My mum was the same, I’m turning into her.

I don’t like small talk much either, because invariably the question which gets asked the most, “how are you?” the asker is really not interested enough to stick around for the answer. So I see little point in answering. It is all so fake and shallow. But I do hate the “I’m good” answer which everyone seems to say these days. 🙄😂

Yes I’m very annoying. Most annoying is i chat too much, I can use 40 words when only 1will do. Also I go off on a tangent a lot! I need chatter and noise to be productive/concentrate and I find it hard to understand that others need quiet time to concentrate.....that’s probably annoying of me too

These are brilliant!! 🤣 @Lord Voldemort I think we could be the same person! 🙉. I also love Harry Potter, my partner hates it!
I also have a short attention span, as an example i went down a rabbit hole today at work googling whether pen is just a shortened version of pencil and which came first. All because I started writing in an email that I had to do an accounting journal the old fashioned wY with pen and paper to work it out... but wrote pencil first and poof, 20 minutes later I knew all about the history of pens, pencils and quills but still hadn't finished my email 🤣

One of the questions I asked her last night was "Okay, so what are the things that bug you about me?" And it was if she'd always made a mental catalogue in her head as she started to reel them off.

The hair twirling I stopped as soon as she said it, as well as the interrupting. But they're both habits that are hard to stop on request
well the hair twirling could be seen an endearing but I get it about the interrupting. I did it all the time and have to try really hard not to. Did she ask you what irritated you about her? seems only fair

I know everyone thinks their voice is annoying but mine is genuinely awful. I bet people that tend not to like me cringe when they hear me coming.

I go into a rant after speaking to some idiot on the phone. Which is fine when I'm on my own. Not so much to others in the room

I wanted to, but given that I was trying to repair a broken relationship I didn't want to piss her off going on the attack so soon! Therefore, I just let her vent and I bit my tongue and counted to 10 many many times :ROFLMAO:

Yes! I never finish my sentences as for some reason I expect that people can read my mind and know what I'm saying in my head. No idea why or how to stop it 😬
Ha, ha, with my family you wouldn’t get a chance to finish your sentences, they would have interrupted you long before then. One of my nieces is the absolute worst for that. 🙄
