I hate Tuesdays too!! Think Monday everyone is meh but Tuesday still feels so far from a weekend
I'm glad other people share the dislike for Tuesday as well!!

I feel like when I go to work on Monday (I work in an office Monday to Friday) you catch up on the weekend banter from everyone, talking about tv shows you watched, things you did etc. I then spend the rest of the day catching up on any work from Friday, answering emails and calls that came through at the weekend so the day goes fast for me. It's Tuesday which I think drags as the freshness of the new week has gone.

I only hate Sunday evenings when I know I have a tit ton of work to do for the week.

When they were my day off work I loved them but now they are the worst day of the week. I’ve decided in January that I won’t leave the uniform prep until Sunday and hope they can be a bit more fun.

I don't mind Sundays! I get to spend quality time with my family. I will be working longer days and wont get to see my family much during the week. I do hate Monday's though. Always disliked Mondays. I did use to have Mondays off and that really worked for me.

I hated Sundays as a child and when I used to work in full time employment with an IT company. But now that I am self employed I really don't mind because I can pick and choose what days I work or not.

My grandad used to say ‘I wish it was Sunday every day,and christmas once a week’
amazing thought as a kid-now?
my idea of hell

today I got up,went downstairs, got a glass of Diet Coke-had just started to watch a bit of tv

my son rang-midway through the call he screamed

his dog had shot into a bush and instead on turning round and back to him,he had ran through it,onto the road and got hit by a car

he slammed the phone down just as my step daughter walked through the door

(she’s just moved back in with her mother after putting us through two years of sheer hell-we’ve almost broken up because of her behaviour)

she came bursting into the house,up the stairs and into her old room

I could hear her pissing about up there and when she came down the stairs I calmly asked for her house key back

well!the abuse I got!

swearing, screaming, throwing (my) stuff about etc-my pot plant ended up smashed and my shoes ended up in the kitchen

i managed to get my key back off her-while she was making it very clear she deserved to keep it-and I’m saying she doesn’t live here nor has ever paid any rent the whole time she did live here and I wanted it back-I’m not running a hotel just for her to come and go as she likes

she turned round, smashed my window and walked out then started banging on the front door (we have two) and screaming abuse through the letterbox-she finally left when her dad got up to deal with her

we’ve had the glazier round to fix it with money we don’t have but at least I got my keys back

my son then rang back

the dogs fine, but is costing him £250 just to get checked out-his insurance ran out last week-2 years of shelling out £35 a month and he forgot to renew it

then stepdaughters mum rang to shout abuse at me-apple doesn’t fall far from that tree-we ignored her,got some crappy texts, went for a fag and the rest of the day has passed peacefully thankfully

i hate sundays…

Isn’t it absurd we have a discussion (though valid) about how we hate a certain day of the week

why are we conditioned to work like dogs the way we do just to earn a living, resulting in us hating certain days of the week or associating a 24 hour block in our week to a bad feeling

when you break it down it’s absolutely absurd

stop the planet, I’m getting off

I’ve always got what I call the ‘Sunday night dread’ from school to every job.
I’m on maternity leave now and it’s so refreshing not to have it, but I know when I go back it’ll probably be ten times worse because I’ll be leaving my little one as well.

I used to always get what I called the "Sunday Blues" when I was working in the big city, commuting 1.5 hours each way to a job I hated. It would start about midday on Sunday, when I started organising my wardrobe for the coming days, polishing my shoes, planning my lunches, thinking about what surprises on the work front (never nice ones), might come my way ... I think it was the whole anticipation of another week in an awful environment, being stuck in traffic for goodness knows how long, wasting my life away ... now, every day is much the same for me (I work from home freelancing, earning far less but am so much happier).

I’ve hated this Sunday for sure. Husband came home for the first time in 6 weeks and it’s been a feckin disaster. He actually went to bed at 6.45pm and I’m just sat here in my own as usual. I wish he hadn’t come back ... but then he didn’t come back to see me really it was just because the car needed an MOT (it failed) 🥺
Are you ok? x

Don’t mind Sunday’s since WFH - I dread the Monday morning commute/idle chit chat about weekends. I don’t like Tuesdays for some reason. This Sunday has been nice as I got my walking boots on and did a 7 mile hike in the countryside 🙂
Same I don't mind Sunday that much since March, I wish we can continue WFH because cannot be arsed about the Monday morning small talks haha! I feel extremely blue when I had to commute to work before March, WFH has helped my mental health.

I hate Tuesday because it is so far away from Friday - is almost like you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.

HATE Tuesdays!

I don't mind Sundays and don't really dread Monday to be honest. I just hate all of the 'lazy sunday' posts on social media lol

Or the new one - "A sunday well spent ...." Usually alongside a photo of someone out on a walk, with an ice cream.
