Anyone else hate Sundays?

Every time I have a "down" day, it's almost always a Sunday and even when I'm not, they still fall flat for me. Easily my least favourite day of the week.

It's not the anticipation of Monday - if anything, I love Monday mornings as I feel refreshed and ready to start a new week. I wonder if the fact that things are usually closed, public transport is reduced and there is less to do on a Sunday plays into it. Living with others is also a problem as they are always frantically preparing and doing their own housework on Sundays.

Anyone else feel the same?

Could not agree more. Every weekend is miserable with my OH at the moment too only making it worse!

I still get that dreaded "back to school" feeling on Sunday evenings.

I'm 37...

That said, my most despised day of the week is Wednesday by far and it always has been. It seems to crawl by and local businesss shutting for half or even the full day every week doesn't help if I have things I need to get done.

I can see what you mean. Wednesday is an odd day but I always kinda liked it, no classes in afternoon for most of high school and all of uni and always had the time to do other things. Even now, I always try and go out for dinner and spend some time in the city on Wednesdays.

I don't mind Sundays but sometimes I deffo get that feeling too. Sundays always feel so different to every other day of the week. Some weeks they are enjoyable some weeks they are miserable

Sunday is my favourite day, if I’m at work it goes quicker. I love being at home on a Sunday and doing random things and spending it with my girls!
we had a really brilliant one today as I arranged some real life elves for a doorstep visit.

but it’s my favourite anyway, Saturday is my day I hate

I hate Sundays because it seems a nothing day. I’m a shift worker so I don’t get that whole TGIF because I work weekends. I usually lose my weekends off by doing housework and errands anyway. I hate the days between Christmas and New Year because people are just hanging around waiting for life to “start” again.

I love sundays now but when I was younger I hated them and I still hate the song heartbeat as the show used to be on Sunday nights, and it just reminds me of feeling sad and anxious

Sunday’s I feel quite weepy sometimes.
they used to be a hangover day for me thankfully I don’t have that anymore ( because I don’t often drink not because I don’t get hangovers).
mondays are bad too I often don’t sleep well sun night and am chronically exhausted Monday 🥱

I like Sunday mornings but once it's the afternoon, I can't relax or properly enjoy myself because i'm thinking/worrying about work the next day. It was the same when I was at school and sixth form as well! I think because I hate Mondays, I dislike Sunday because i'm just worrying about Monday.

I’ve hated this Sunday for sure. Husband came home for the first time in 6 weeks and it’s been a feckin disaster. He actually went to bed at 6.45pm and I’m just sat here in my own as usual. I wish he hadn’t come back ... but then he didn’t come back to see me really it was just because the car needed an MOT (it failed) 🥺

Don’t mind Sunday’s since WFH - I dread the Monday morning commute/idle chit chat about weekends. I don’t like Tuesdays for some reason. This Sunday has been nice as I got my walking boots on and did a 7 mile hike in the countryside 🙂

I've turned Wednesday into a "treat day", with a takeaway and fun film. It does help.

I can’t stand Sundays. Every day (when I’m not working) feels like a Sunday these days. Such a crap day.

I love a Sunday! Sunday is very restful for us. And in my current job I don’t get Sunday night blues, so I don’t dread Monday coming. That being said I LOVE a Sunday night when you know there’s no work in the morning. 10 days and counting till the holidays, can’t wait 🎄 😂
