Fit it in before Thursday and then at least if he's not the one you won't waste a month talking to someone who you don't have chemistry with...

Can’t you still meet one to one outdoors? Wee walk and a takeaway coffee?
I would do this before doing the zoom thing, might get a little awkward/unnatural if it’s a first date. At least you get more of a vibe from someone in person and any awkward silences can be broken with “omg look at those magpies shagging!!!”

Good luck x

My bf and I have a long distance relationship, so we do a few dates on Zoom. We recently ordered the same meal from Pizza Hut, which arrived around the same time, set the table, set up our laptops and ate together. It really felt like we were together

Some other things we do:
Play online games together
Do quizzes together
If you both have Netflix, download “teleparty” - it allows you to stream Netflix shows and Disney+ at the same time

I was due to go on a date with a guy for a coffee! Boris has just blown that!
Intended date has just suggested Zoom?
Any better ideas?

PS:
I am not saying Covid is not serious in any way.
