I am so torn by this. I love his books and in them he freely talks about how his ego is always his downfall. But he talks about his wife as if she is his saviour and you get the impression he adores her and is genuinely in love with her. She gave up her life for him and it would be so sad if any of these cheating stories are true. Really feel for her

I felt the same watching the programmes but I was pleasantly surprised by his books. He agrees that a certain amount of his on screen stuff is a character. Is there any tea on the cheating rumours? He credits his wife for all his success and talks about her a lot in the books - I find it hard to believe he’d be reckless with that girl from The Sun

You don't understand why Channel 4 would buy-in a program with him and his history at the helm? I don't understand why Channel 4 employ Katie Price, a well known bully (numerous examples of her vile posts are available for the world to see and her knuckle-dragging partner has had an official police warning for threatening a woman with cancer), troll and poster of revenge porn (found guilty of this against her ex-husband Alex Reid and still owes £120,000 in legal costs and some £25,000 of damages to him personally). Seems C4 quite like bullies which is why I don't watch the channel any more except for Frasier re-runs. Funny C4 are now advertising for a researcher for Steph's Packed Lunch - after the event. I would be mortified if I had been found guilty of assaulting a police officer and would be hiding my mug not parading it along with my unfounded Covid theories to the public.

i havent made my way through all of the threads on him, i just jumped into the conversation, i dont know much about this guy at all other than reading he had an affair, never even watched the tv show hes in.He talks about it at length in one of his books ( I don’t sell these FYII did not know he bashed a female officer
) - struggled with civilian life after leaving the armed forces, assaulted a male officer and the female got caught in the scuffle. Someone who’s read it more recently might correct me but I thought she actually didn’t get assaulted but “felt threatened” and that was the extent of it?!If you read back on my posts, I shared the same views as you that I also think it's wrong RE him assaulting police and I never understand why he got a career based off of that. I'm not defending his past behaviour, I'm talking about the recent accusations like his tweet on BLM and him saying the show became too PC. If he has touched or been inappropriate to women then of course I wouldn't defend that behaviour either, and he deserves no career as clearly he's had too many chances and not changed.

My husband flat out refused to go with me so I took a friend! I booked it before the pandemic and it was rearranged I think once or maybe twice. I was surprised that a lot of the content was relating to Covid and the pandemic, I was hoping it would be more about his life experiences etc. Which I'm guessing it would have been if it went ahead when it should have

A douchebag…..I think it’s pretty telling that most of the people that appear on his Instagram timeline are female fitness influencers and probably a fair few wannabe alpha males - impressionable people looking for ‘spiritual guide’. The man has always spouted garbled pseudo expertise on lifestyle/fitness. He’s just a hyped up little squaddie, a thick mercenary prepared to do the bidding of idiotic politicians like Boris without question. Yet they (SBS/SAS) masquerade as an intellectual branch of the armed forces…..it’s an oxymoron. The only intelligent people involved in these matters stay well out of the line of fire. Imagine drooling over glorified cannon fodder.
