In my opinion, anyone that can stop anxiety by reading a card that says 'you are worth it' isnt actually anxious. There is no way she could possibly help someone with real problems
I agree I think she only did her counselling degree to look more accreditable , most counsellors want to actually help people and empathise with them and work through their problems , Anna just wants to throw her advice and books at them for her own gains attention and adoration

I’ve just scrolled through her feed as I haven’t in a long time and just realised nearly all of her feed is covered in photos of herself.

I mean what does that tell you?

Anyone else noticed the constant tagging of large accounts, especially this year. She tagged Robbie Williams and Ferne Cotton in a story the other day. Its just cringey.

She desperately wants to be in high circles. Hence a new accent. There is a post further down of her page with Zoe Hardman, I think they did podcast together.

I love listening to Ferne’s podcast. I get a feeling Anna wants to be noticed and probably hopes F invites her to do a podcast. Please Ferne nooo! Don’t do it!!!

Also she has obviously sent a copy of her book when it first came out to Sarah ( unmummsy mum ) and Sarah showed the book in her stories. She has a huge following and I think she is genuine in her life unlike Anna.

It was such a calculating move from Anna. She definitely is good at self promotion!

I'm not really sure what she is trying to achieve here by sharing how she is very complex and struggling mentally in life with 3 kids. She has managed to have a walk with a friend today and have a bath during the day plus 15 stories on Instagram. I think she has very deep rooted issues where her self care has no bounds. I've been glued to my desk from 8am this morning and have not managed to do much except quickly scroll through my phone in between work never mind have a bath in the middle of the day. Does she understand how normal people with full-time jobs work? She is more of a personal coach than a therapist.

I’ve just watched her stories for the first time in forever and OMG, I know it’s already been said but her voice is COMPLETELY different to how it use to be 🤪

I feel as if she is documenting her breakdown recovery, rather than offering her services as a qualified professional.

Isn't this her modus operandi though? Create /fabricate stressful situation, story about it, create fallacy that you've overcome said situation, then sell course on what coping strategies she used. Ad infinitum. And repeat. Swipe up for 'how you put your needs first during lockdown'......

absolutely ! The psychotherapists I know do real work that makes a difference - working with people with severe mental illness in the nhs , they do it for the love of wanting to help others ! And get paid much less than Anna gets! Anna wouldn’t have a clue what it would Be like being a real therapist working with those with psychosis , Anger , women who have been in abusive relationships , personality disorder , high risks , ptsd etc . She goes on and on about her life and struggle - she is talking to an audience who potentially have had serious struggles - childhood abuse etc And sells them positive statements . She just does all this positive psychology life coaching waffle based on herself and gets paid lots ! Talks to a screen not people all day! She has Actually lost any sense of reality and normality I am quite concerned That she calls herself a therapist !

Is that an undeclared ad?

The woman is a charlatan. Can imagine if you actually went to her for “professional therapy” she’d listen to you for a few minutes then just talk about herself and her own problems and try to out play you with her own massive struggle. She’s a disgrace.

I read somewhere that for minor mental health issues such as low mood, some anxiety conditions (which is surely who she’s aiming her guff at, anything more serious needs individualised help) the best ‘treatment’ is to get outside of yourself and focus on what you can do for others. I know it’s tough in current circs but even getting involved with food bank distribution, ringing older people etc. Anna is the total opposite of this, just complete self absorption and navel gazing. And she is the end product of her approach.

Anna with a psychosis patient; "have you tried breathing in and out slowly?"
Anna with someone who has been severely abused; "have you tried having a 10 minute bath"

Here buy my book if you want to be cured of your clinical depression. Goodbye.
The legend that is Anna actually believes that every mum needs her book and should be handed out when leaving the hospital as part of the care package. I mean who said self love and adoration had any bounds..
