She said that it was a gift from fat Face. Next time I'll lost a screenshot. She is gifted allot of stuff from fat Face and you have to give them your address and agree for the gift. But on her FAQs she says she doesn't accept gift which is a lie.
Sorry I didn’t see it, I thought you were just saying she’d posted an affiliate link. Apologies xx

A bit passive aggressive?
why has the screenshot she’s commented over got a red heart next to the “antagonistic” comment? Either someone has sent it to her who has liked it, or she’s liked it herself, or I’m missing something...

Doesn't make what she is doing on an everyday basis any less bad. Just because someone else is doing wrong doesn't mean it is ok for you to do so too.
Its 'less bad' as others are doing it more, on a literal level. But my thinking was more, ive seen other IGers do it and theres no call out for it and theyre shameless with it. I didnt say Anna was right or guilt free.

I did used to really like Anna, but the book thing has pissed me off.

She curated a whole feed around being a down-to-earth, busy mum, running a house with three kids while her husband works away during the week. Relatable! I'm just like you! Blah blah blah.

Turns out the whole fucking time she was writing a book! She definitely didn't do that without massive amounts of behind the scenes help. Why couldn't she just be honest? I thought she was being real with us, when in truth she's been upstairs writing from 9-3 while the nanny was looking after the kids and whipping the hoover round. Not as relatable is it?

The way she announced it was like: 'oh I just knocked out a book in between cooking chicken nuggets and doing the night feeds'. It's a lie. And it's lies like that which make women feel inadequate.

'If she managed to write a book while single-handedly looking after three pre-schoolers during the week, why can't I? I can just about manage to blow dry my hair in the morning and remember which day to put the bins out. Why am I so crap? I feel a failure.'

Because it's bollocks.

We could all churn out 300 pages of mediocre mum-lit if we had six uninterrupted hours to ourselves every day.
Didnt want the extra pressure of everyone knowing she was writing it, i guess. I remember she would get so many comments telling her she should write a book but she always kind of shushed them. So itd make sense if she was more guarded about it? Clarity would have been good, as shes generally portrayed herself as honest, but I can understand why she didnt say.

My work takes me to Surrey sometimes and sadly parking isn’t free - at least anywhere I have parked. I manage to pay the correct amount and not get a ticket though, it’s not bloody rocket science
Oh fair enough. I know, with Anna everything somehow becomes a dramatic venture!

I couldn’t of written it better myself.
So true about the three kids marker. I find myself living around very middle / upper class families, due to my husbands job and three or more kids is standard, including a Volvo or a Range Rover, nanny and a cleaner and not forgetting a private school. It’s definitely all about the status. I have none of these things btw.

Often these women love boasting about how busy they are but actually they just appear neurotic to me and are always angry with their husbands - bit Like Anna.
Anna is definitely trying desperately to fit into that same mould. So much so she’s even changed her regional accent 😏

Yes and the other day she moaned about her Volvo that keeps breaking but she is still keeping it. Let go of this lifestyle that you can't afford Anna. Let go of the broken Volvo and buy a golf, should have had 2 kids instead of 3 that you can't cope with, speak in your normal accent then try and fit in the London commuter region, move closer to your mum that you miss and can get support from than down south where you don't belong, let go of the husband that you despise so much and try and be a single lady, let go of the nanny and cleaner that you can't afford and have to sell your soul and privacy just so you can make extra money to afford a lifestyle you can't afford.... She is a victim of her own problems that she has created herself

What are your feelings on the unmumsy mum? One could argue she started the whole thing and although all she ever sold were books (not psychological) help, it's the same thing. I really dont see how shes targeting anyone, there are lots of people out there doing far worse. All the cleaning insta stars selling people worthless tat, ex reality tv wannabes flogging get rich quick or win a grand if you follow me rubbish. What happens if someone pays for her services or buys her book and finds it useful and it genuinely helps? Getting referred for any type of help on the NHS is a postcode lottery and some people dont want to wait or are maybe to embarrassed to go to GP. Maybe shes good inbetween or makes them think about it more?

As I say, maybe I'm just not seeing it because i generally skip her stories now but her posts to me have helped. I've never felt I've had to buy her stuff either.

Does anyone follow Mumologist on Instagram? She has a great social media presence, but is also very boundaried and professional. She did a short video of this on one of her recent posts (8 Feb) which was oddly liked by Anna.
Content ideas for Anna... Probably gave her an idea of how to shout in the kitchen when kids are watching TV.. bizarre woman
