They will be renting, their current landlord is selling which is why they hve to move. They havent spoken to oz parents in 6 months as they disagreed with dilly being cremated and also she knows she aiyla will get a place as she has EHCP but she wants a place on THEE best school which is in warrington.
Interesting Og is asking about Urmston. Which is a different LA to Warrington. This is why they want them to move first. The local authority for where they live is meant to pay for the school, so how can warrington agree to it if they aren’t going to live there? Maybe they have no intention of living in the warrington area but want that school.

No it’s greater Manchester and comes under Trafford council. So if they moved there then Trafford council have to agree on the school. They may still agree to a school in Warrington if there’s nothing suitable / no spaces in their own area. But this is why they are being asked to find a home first because why would Warrington local authority agree to a school if they aren’t even going to live in the Warrington area.

Legally they can consult with whoever the parent wants, but would need to go to board in the local authority they live in - and almost all boroughs will not transfer the sen file until you are actually living in the new address, leading to children sitting at home for ages until someone actually picks up the file and sends the consultation, which is a 15 working day response time. I’ve known local authorities fund schools out of borough but they’d rather not as the schools up the fees for out of borough students. Also experienced children out of school for 6months plus due to lack of spaces and borough moves.

I can’t imagine any rented houses in urmston will have the grandeur they are used to. I still can’t fathom why they haven’t bought somewhere. They have (had) all that money and could have bought somewhere outright. They are both nearly 40, neither have a proper job/career and doubt the word pension has even entered their minds. Surely they want to have some security in a home for the girls instead of wasting the money on a bridal website (yet to see an actual wedding arranged) and pretending to do trading courses. It’s insane!
