It would be great if she could normalise saying it is okay to admit that some things don't suit you. We seem to be in an era where we can and should wear whatever we want. That is fine if you have the confidence to pull it off and really don't care but when you make caring about it your whole personality you need to look at what makes you feel good, and look good.
Alison is wearing a cardigan that looks like her gran knitted it. It is too big, and the wrong shape for her. It makes her look boxy. The necklaces also look too much, and in the wrong colour. Her colouring would look better with silver and the heavy chain makes her neck look dirty and cluttered. If she dressed for her shape (not her size but her shape) she would feel better about her silhouette and the confidence would grow. Clearly not going to feel confident in stuff that makes her feel and look shit.
