Aliens

So glad for this thread. Nobody around me will discuss it 🤣

I think people are really naive to say there's no such thing as aliens. The amount of galaxies out there, how can you believe we are the only ones?

My friend once had an argument with me when I mentioned UFO's and she said UFO's aren't real. And I said UFO's don't mean little flying saucers. It literally means Unidentified Flying Object.
That doesn't mean it's something from another planet or an alien at all 😂

I have an alien tattoo that I got when my Dad was ill as he loved talking about it all and he was the only one. We used to watch ancient aliens together and ufo hunters so it was only fitting 😂

Now, do I believe that "alien" means little green man or the grey beings that everyone automatically thinks of... no. Alien can mean anything. Any living thing not from this planet.
I think that's partly where people get defensive and call it stupid. Because you say alien and they picture the grey head with the big eyes and skinny body. They don't think about anything else!

Nobody wants to discuss it with me either 😂
But that's ok, I'm not hurt. Slightly hurt.
Has anyone read Dolores Cannon books, I'm loving her work.

Also so pleased to find this thread! My partner just laughs at me when I try and talk about it and starts singing the War of the Worlds theme tune lol. He says it would be impossible for them to reach us even at the speed of light but I just feel like that's a very human way of thinking about it. Their brains or whatever they use to think won't be anything like ours!

I 100% think they're trying to soften the blow and something's in the works. Otherwise it wouldn't be in their interest to share this.

I read a lot of ‘High Strangeness’ on Reddit, but there’s a lot of weird stuff in there! I think one theory is that there are different types of aliens, some are hostile and some not. I presume the ‘UAP’s visiting are not but who knows.

They have all sorts of technology so they will be able to reach us. My nan, mum, aunt and even my dad saw one a bloody huge one, well the whole block that she lived in did, the power was drained in the flat, my aunt was using the hair dryer they thought it was a power cut at first, they went outside and saw it well you couldn’t miss it really it was that low you could see the windows on it, it was silent dead in the air then just took off, this was the time way before mobile phones, can you imagine if there was back in the 80s. Now if I had said this away from this thread people would think I’m crazy but this is 100% true.

Jaime Maussan is apparently linked to a similar hoax from 2017 and other years. For whatever reason - probably because he's mainly popular in Mexico - clear sources are hard to come by
The English- and Spanish-language tabloids and YouTube channels that cover the “discovery” reliably fill in the blanks, guarding journalistic integrity with scare quotes: “The ‘Alien’ Mummies of Nazca,” trumpeted The Sun in mid-July, when the mummy’s most prominent promoter, a Mexican “ufologist” and TV personality named Jaime Maussan, produced photographic and x-ray “proof” of at least four additional more “reptilian” “humanoid” bodies.

Because of course: What else could they be?

* * *
Human beings, and indigenous ones to boot.

In 2015, Maussan tried to promote a photographic slide from the late 1940s that, he hinted, depicted the corpse of an alien child found in the American Southwest. More skeptical ufologists applied de-blurring technology to the “Roswell Slide” when it was released, and found that a previously undecipherable placard next to the body revealed that it was actually the mummy of a two-year-old Puebloan boy removed from the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde in 1894. Returned to a National Park museum in 1938, the boy was repatriated to a local tribe in 2015. Incredibly, Maussan then offered $10,000 for information that might permit the Puebloan boy’s “location and recuperation.”
Journalist Jaime Maussan, one of the key organisers of the Be Witness event, refused to concede defeat and said the saga was "far from over".

"This could be true," he conceded when we asked if the alien was actually a dead child.

"But there are so many anomalies that is impossible that this is a human being."
I have been reading a lot of Reddit comments about this and people have noted that:
- the way they extracted DNA is basically impossible
- the xrays look super dodgy. The bones aren't right (legs being made of two different bones) and some are missing from the scan but you can see them on the body

Probably BS but I think there must be some life in the universe its huge. We can't really be that self centred to think there's no life out there. There's a strong probability life has evolved in other solar systems.

If I was an alien I would duck right off out of the milkyway. We still kill eachother for different beliefs and land.

I think the government's will know but it will be top secret. Look at covid people battling over toilet roll there would be mass panic.

How come it looks suspiciously like a paper mache model of ET?
Lots have been saying if these were real, make samples available for scientists across the globe to study. Unless they’ll just find the structure to be a paper and glue 🤣

There will be some life somewhere, there’s no way we are the only living species in this entire universe.

How big is Space? I mean it won't just have an end to it - like you'd just hit a brick wall and that'd be it. It literally can go on and on and on.......(making my head hurt thinking about it!).
So to think there is nothing else out there, or hasn't been in the past, is really dumb.
I personally believe that there is, we have had contact with it (ask yourself - how did technology move so quickly in the 1950's onwards? Not long after the Roswell incident) and that higher ups are still in contact with it (probably keeping peace with it).

The big question is - why all this official talk now? When all the time before anyone who discussed it was a crackpot and there was utter denial. .
Is it because the world is nearing an expiration date? We have weather issues, the real risk of nuclear armageddon with Putin, North Korea etc. and are the aliens actually time travellers who know what is going to happen.

Or is it that there will be a big reveal after the next generation has gone - after all by then we'll be mainly living with those who have grown up in a more enlightened / laidback society, who wouldn't freak out so much (Victorians, even those in the 50's and 60's could never have coped) as we're so used to advancement and the internet has broken most inhabitions.

I looked into the whole alien thing about 20 years ago. I read widely and quite deeply.
I won't bore you with my own personal opinions via this except to say I lost interest in the subject as there are profound issues/schisms there that seem to be intractable. Jacques Vallee's work is definately worth checking out as is early John Keel stuff before he went a bit demented. The truth probably lies in a synthesis between them IMO.

However, someone linked me to a doc (could have been someone on here so thanks if it was) and I found it both absorbing and credible compared with the usual eye witness accounts and dodgy documentaries. It's great in that it focuses on technically trained eye witnesses (military personnel etc) who have/had a lot to lose career wise for their reports.

This is probably old news for you guys but I'd not paid the subject any thought for 20 years and this one did make me think. It's one of the very few worthwhile documentaries on the subject IMO. I found it so thought provoking that I decided to watch his other films on the subject.

This one was interesting as I'd read of the case when it originally happened and accounts were very vague at the time in the European media. It's also worth a watch IMO but has some problematic parts.

After I'd downloaded it I realised I'd seen the above one before. It's not a bad watch also though neither are as good as the first one I listed.

So yeah that's it.

They keep saying the human race isn’t ready for us to know there are aliens in the universe, well when will we be? I’m sorry but there’s enough people out there who have seen UFOs and if that isn’t enough proof or enough to say we’re not ready then what is.

I recon the universe is never ending it will just go on and on, like the black hole is that a parallel universe? There’s no way we are the only living beings it’s impossible, as long as the aliens aren’t like Mars attack and kill everyone on the spot then make an announcement already why keep dragging it out.

Purely conjecture and "running with the ball" here for the sake of discussion. I've no dog in this fight.

Why the assumption they come from outer space?

If you want to believe something they are just as likely inter dimensional beings or time travellers coming back which would certainly explain their timidity at being seen up close and personal interaction (time paradox issues).

It would also help explain the fairly twee ecological lectures/images they plant in the minds of people (alledgedly). Maybe the're trying to warn of us an upcoming ecological catastrophe that made future humans end up looking like them.

Maybe they're on a time travel package tour?

Some theorists posit they are coming back through time to harvest genetic material from us that they are now lacking due to some future catastrophe.
It would also explain why the majority of sightings describe humanoid figures quite similar to us. An space type alien is just as likely to be microbial or giant in size comapred to us.

Many sightings are of USO's (unidentified submerged objects). Who's to say they don't live down there in relative safety from prying eyes. The oceans are quiet. It's specific shipping lanes that are busy not the rest of it. Just like that film "The abyss"

There's no evdience linking them to space travel except what the so called aliens have communicated to contactees. They always tend to say they're from Zeta reticulii but it may as well be Bognor IMO. Contactees are often in what I'll term a fugue state or altered state of conciousness. The "Oz" factor as described by Jenny Randles. Another researcher I'd recommend you check out.

Like I said it's pure conjecture but the logic they come from outer space is no more likely than these other theories basically. It's a can of worms. A can of weird worms.

Apologies for the double post and for the poor spelling in my prior post. I'm trying to do too many things at once.
I'm including another link which you could counter with in the interests of balance but it's been kind of increasingly discredited over the years. It also explains my Zeta Reticulii mention prior:-
