But even seeing people struggle to get on the housing ladder/wait for social housing where they are all hard working is just crazy. The whole thing is just absolutely broken when it comes to housing in the country unfortunately

also why was she throwing away perfectly good fruit and veg, just take it out of the plastic and eat it ffs. None of the stuff she showed looked frozen and mouldy. It didn’t grow in a fridge. Also don’t eat eggs that have been out the fridge then back in? Is that a thing? Because I’ve been doing that for years and I’m still here. And don’t start me on her chucking all the frozen food. It’s £650 in Manchester, it might be more now but a few years ago it was. She would have had to put £100 to it herself. But like you say she could have applied for DHP. But she’s obviously just wanted a council house in the same area as her family so played the system to get one because there is absolutely no way she would get a council house after making herself intentionally homeless.
