I picked up some of the Aldi frozen almond croissants. Haven’t tried them yet. I love an almond croissant.
pret do the best ones, but they’re an occasional treat, cos they’re expensive!
I think the Aldi almond ones are pretty good for the price! I enjoyed them anyway. The other flavour, chocolate hazelnut I think? is gross and perfumey imo

Have Aldi stopped selling the cookie dough bites? I can't find them and now they don't even seem to have the other two that are sold from the same box (rocky road and can't remember the other)

I’m not a huge fan of either and I don’t think the prices are great anymore, but I prefer Aldi over Lidl. There’s not much I like in Lidl apart from their sparkling water, coleslaw, ground coffee and ice cream cones. 😁 I hate the Lidl app. Aldi’s tannoy is really annoying loud, it’s such an unpleasant shopping experience.

You can always get the beauty bits on Vinted too. Some sellers add loads of money from the original price but there is some who don’t.
Yes, there are a few nice ones out there on vinted! I managed to stock up on their Tumeric and Vitimin C face oil.

Some go completely overboard on their prices but if you spend a few mins hunting you can usually find a more reasonable price!

Has anyone else had problems getting Aldi berry fruits teabags? The 40 bag box not the smaller ones. Every time I go there is tons of every flavour except berry. It’s still on the label. 🤔
It's usually the exact opposite problem at ours - 2 boxes full of berry fruits, maybe a couple of the red ones and none of the chamomile unless you get there as soon as they unload the new stock. It's been far more even the last couple of weeks so I wonder if they've changed the quantities they're producing or sending?

I got the recommended Wotsits multipack from Lidl but they weren't Lidl's own but Walkers. They didn't do any others. Not sure if these were the ones you were recommending. They were £2.99.

Aren't the other ones the same size just by the tills? The summer fruits/apple and black?

Does anyone know if Lidl sell a sugar free jam please. Read that "maybe" they did but don't want to make a bus journey if they don't.

My Aldi had some nice candles in today. My daughter is a bit too old now for the wooden toys but I could never get them in any of the Aldis around me anyway

Gang what do we think to the cheesy pretzels in Lidl? 🥨 I think they’re quite nice but I’m curious of other opinions.

Re. Aldi or Lidl being ‘better’, when I shopped at Lidl for main shop I was forever throwing away fresh produce. I don’t get that with Aldi, so that’s what I prefer of the two. But to be honest I think it was a storage issue as opposed to anything else! 🤷‍♀️
I find the opposite with produce now especially fruit! I think it really does depend on storage and logistics in a particular store.

I prefer Lidl for the bakery but Aldi for the general shop

I wonder if it comes down to where you started ? I starred with Aldi and found Lidl confusing for ages
Yeah i think a big part is what you're used to. I lived next to lidl before then moved near an aldi and really didnt like it. After years of aldi i don't like lidl as much now 🤣

I’m an Aldi girl and get a bit lost and confused in Lidl. I’ve seen people running out of Lidl with bottles of spirits or paying for them with pennies. If it had self serve I may go there more. The Aldi across the road never seems to have these issues.
