(no idea where to put this so I started this thread! )
Midjourney (AI company famous for AI videos, ran and owned solely by David Holz) have announced a new arm - Midjouney Medical.
Midjourney medical have build an ultrasonic 3D topological scanner for human bodies. Its a super 'the future is here' moment.
You step on to a platform where you are lowered into a solution, and loads of little vibrating ultrasonic waves are fired at you through the water. A map is made of your body in real time.
This will gorge computational power and normal power (IMO) but they aim to have it market ready by 2027 and in hospitals soon after.
The worry for me is all of the incidental findings this will produce - will it cause a spike in cancers found?
This is a video of a person using it
This is a video of how it will work.
