Affordable Skiing holidays

Obviously for when everything is safe again but is it possible to have a relatively affordable ski holiday e.g. under £1.5k per adult. I've been talking with a group of friends after reminiscing on a school ski trip we did around 10 years ago which is all of our experience of skiing and we'd all love to do something like that again. I've looked into a few package places but they all seem crazy expensive when you factor in equipment hire, lift passes and lessons.
If anyone has done a similar holiday can you tell me your advice for booking a ski trip.

None of use would want to drive from UK to destination but we would be open to an organised group coach trip and ferry
Accommodation wouldn't need to be fancy - we would prefer hotel/guest house style place to chalet
Après ski type night life is not something we'd be overly bothered about
Are ski lessons a thing for adults, if so we'd like this sort of thing or at least a beginner resort

I went skiing in Poland, Zakopane. It's a picturesque highlander village and I highly recommend it. Poland is cheap overall (in comparison to other locations). You can also walk up to the famous Morskie Oko ("Eye of the Sea") which is beautiful place to see. I loved all the bars and restaurants around there, too. Imagine wooden huts, with fireplaces and highlanders playing the guitar and singing

Is there something like PGL for adults that might suit you if you want something like organised packaged trip with snow drive. Many unis have ski trips so there must be affordable options out there. I'd said avoid Feb half term week though as that's usually most expensive

Bulgaria is cheap and was no different quality wise to other trips Ive been on in fancier places. The nursery slopes are a mix of all ages too if anyone is rusty.
