This is what I thought the weight loss maintenance would be like. She is now under so much pressure to stay thin, I bet she really misses the old days when she could eat whatever she liked.I've had weight loss surgery myself it's definitely not cheating in fact it's really hard as you can't ever come off it like a diet. You are always stuck having tiny portions can't pig out and have to keep careful about what you do eat lots of protein and take multivitamins. I think if she keeps the weight off that's the biggest indicator she's had it as something like only 1 in 750 keep the weight off with conventional diet after being obese.
I think Rebel Wilson has had the same as well, they won't admit it due to society being weird about the way we lose weight .
On her touring front I think she should just retire for good she's got loads of money her songs are the same as 10 years ago. She should just enjoy her millions .
But is he a multimillionaire superstar like Adele? He could still be using her in some way. Maybe for the imagine, who knows, but it's possible. But he is very wealthy in his own right.
I think that quote was from a few years ago. I read a similar thing recently.Just found this quote and it gives the kind of perspective Adele is living:
From a Nylon magazine article:
“I was drinking far too much and that was kind of the basis of my relationship with this boy. I couldn’t bear to be without him, so I was like, ‘Well, OK, I’ll just cancel my stuff then.'”
I remember reading an article a long time ago about weight loss surgery and the increasing amount of women abusing alcohol - they could no longer comfort eat but the feelings associated with that were still there so they sought other ways to change how they felt.I've had weight loss surgery myself it's definitely not cheating in fact it's really hard as you can't ever come off it like a diet. I've noticed she's very disingenuous when talking about how she lost the weight. I think it was one of her Vogue interviews where she said the eats the same way she always has and still has takeaways etc and just exercises for "mental health". I'm sorry but you can't change the shape of your body that dramatically through exercise alone. Unless she's exercising for multiple hours every day the surgery theory seems plausible.I don’t think surgery is a quick fix or a cheat but I also don’t think it’s anything to be ashamed of. If she is lying (and I’m not saying she is) then trying to pass it off as daily workouts and strict eating will make her less relatable than just saying she’d had the surgery imo.
I think the same, it’s maybe from around the time between her first and second album?I think that quote was from a few years ago. I read a similar thing recently.
Yes it's called transfer addiction some people do drugs, alcohol , exercise shopping, cosmetic surgery all sorts! . Mine is beauty treatments instead of spending money on foodI remember reading an article a long time ago about weight loss surgery and the increasing amount of women abusing alcohol - they could no longer comfort eat but the feelings associated with that were still there so they sought other ways to change how they felt.

She probably does eat what she wants to just tiny portions of itI've noticed she's very disingenuous when talking about how she lost the weight. It’s quite common, famous people who seem to embrace being the “fat funny one” or even the “normal” one - or at least act on their okay with it…until suddenly they’ve lost a load of weight (Rebel Wilson, Melissa McArthy, Lisa Riley) or are fronting weight loss campaigns (James Corden).I've noticed she's very disingenuous when talking about how she lost the weight. She is a naturally big girl, so she would’ve had to do something drastic ( gastric ) to lose that much weight. She would also have had surgery to remove all the loose skin after so much weight loss, So she has had some major work done to achieve the body she now has. There is no way she is eating as she used to though, that’s just not possible.I've noticed she's very disingenuous when talking about how she lost the weight. I think she has had a LOT of work done. But this just goes to show that you need to be happy in your own skin, regardless of weight. She looks the best she has ever looked, but is now the most miserable she has ever been. What does that tell you. It’s quite common, famous people who seem to embrace being the “fat funny one” or even the “normal” one - or at least act on their okay with it…until suddenly they’ve lost a load of weight (Rebel Wilson, Melissa McArthy, Lisa Riley) or are fronting weight loss campaigns (James Corden).
I’m not happy being overweight so I certainly I wouldn’t expect people in the spotlight where every part of their lives are picked apart to be. But I think Adele would have only became more popular if she was totally honest about how she’s lost the weight.
Ps….how many of these “ newly “ skinny celebs will pule the weight back on after…?
I don’t really follow her, has she had work done to her face? She looked different facially in her “I’m so upset but can’t quite muster the tears” video.
Good video. Her surgery has been subtle but you can definitely tell she's had eyelid surgery and nose reshaping. This woman has done an analysis on Adele's plastic surgery:
Not sure who is advising her but that post seems in real bad taste? Why is she holding a playing card….. is that a two fingers to Vegas? And as for the reference to the boyfriend , that’s like something a teenager would do. I see she’s nominated for a few awards at the Brits, I presume she must be sure she’s going to win when she’s showing up for them.Ah - bit of damage limitation with Graham.
This post seems a bit sarky to me. Is that really the best look when you’ve let so many people down?
