It’s the time off school, for me. Life experiences are so important, but so are academics. Hopefully for Harbee, grifting will still be a vocation when he’s an adult.

Absolutely, I agree, there is plenty to be learn from travel & experiences outside of the classroom, however these grifting type trips are hardly about the culture or long enough to really immerse themselves into the experience to learn anything, they have so much time off & I would hate to see their report cards.
So many grifters / influencers are doing this all the time.
Countries want to ban social media for youths but allow their parents to use them on socials to make a buck, it’s bad if not worse than them having their own accounts.
