You people are terrible influencers *adds Naturium oil to shopping list*
I’d argue we’re all quite good influencers making each other buy stuff 😂 as for the oil though I am a real devotee of the l’occitane almond one myself so can’t suggest an alternative! I would however like recommendations for the best unscented shower products as I’m still using unscented stuff with my 6 week old breastfeeding and I hate the “scent” of unscented stuff if that makes sense…

My dermatologist recommended Sanex Zero which I now use

enjoy the baby snuggles… mine still loves a cuddle at 11 ❤

Has anyone used the beauty of Josen tinted sunscreen? Another thing I fancy trying but can only find ad/pr/paid reviews, no actual reviews
First impression:
I've got light skin, mostly neutral tone but a slight olive undertone and got the lightest neutral shade, LN110. Skin type is combination, with a tendency to get oily.
The skin tint it really, really thin, almost like water and you have to shake it well. It's indeed more "oily" than their regular sunscreen, reminds me a lot of the Bioré UV Bright Sunmilks. The were also very liquid and seemed to leave a thin layer of oil behind that at least on my skin, with a little powder, was more like a nice glow.
The colour seems to be perfect for me, literally disappeared into my skin but leaving a nice "fresh" finish, not matte, not oily. Coverage is very light, I've got a few dark spots, etc and you can absolutely still see them through it but also they are less noticeable than before.I could have layered on more, the coverage seems buildable, but because it's very sheer, you'd have to use concealer if you want a more perfect skin. I don't think you could get to medium coverage with this.
It feels nice on the face in the meaning "i can't tell it's there", which is exactly what I want, I hate feeling greasy or feeling it doesn't sink in. I've still used some powder over it as I do that with every sunscreen. Together with the L'Oreal True Match powder it looks very nice and definitely more polished than either on its own. Just need to see how it holds up during the day.
I think for dry skin, this might not be ideal as it is so thin, at least not on its own. (I didn't use any moisturizer under it, so i can't say how it plays with something underneath).

Some 'unscented' stuff just smells off to me 🤢

Any tips for acne scarred skin? That doesn’t involve procedures or laser etc. Not looking for miracles but anything that might help with scarring or skin texture? Thanks.

Yes - I was really disappointed, I found it oily compared to the untinted sunscreen, and the tint seemed to just colour the liquid, it was almost invisible on my skin :(
That’s a shame! I am after something really thin coverage wise so wondering if it’s worth me giving it ago

Maybe tretinoin? Or retinol/retinal to start which is a little less harsh on the skin.

Yes! I find this! I’ve been using Mitchum unscented deodorant and that’s okay but others I’ve used smell horrendous! I like Dr Bronner baby mild soap too, that doesn’t smell weird. But so much other ‘unscented’ stuff just smells horrible to me!

Also has anyone ever found any undereye mask patch things that DON’T contain retinol? I need the patches because no sleep but can’t use most of them because breastfeeding - it’s so frustrating!

Thank you. Would you recommend a first retinol/retinal?
Have never used retinal myself but did use The Ordinary’s retinol in squalane and worked my way up the strengths. It is the only retinol product I’ve ever used though so maybe someone else will come along with other recommendations.

SPF is a must when using retinol/retinal/tretinoin. Even in horrible manky Januarys like this one where you’re not convinced it’s ever been daylight 🙃

also research how much SPF you need to apply to face and neck for proper protection!! its always annoying to realise youve been under applying like i had for ages 🙈

side note, got these in my boots basket. the SPFs seem to be brand spanking new as I cant even find a review online for the vitamin c glow one yet, seen a couple (sponsored obviously) titoks about the glass skin serums and masks etc but not the spf yet, so very curious as to what its going to be like. But going to blind buy and try this stuff out as i think the price is really good tbh

I use the glass skin mask followed by the glass skin serum and my skin feels hydrated and looks amazing too. Well worth picking up especially while on offer. I purchased 4 of the multi packs of masks so I can do 2 weekly

Has anyone used any oribe hair products? Thoughts and opinions would be great as I’m teetering on the edge as 20% off currently 😆

Got this Trinny lip and cheek thing in the Liberty advent calendar and it's so lovely. Very easy to apply and great for my handbag. For context I'm 41 and pretty lazy/not skilled with makeup. This is very easy to use and makes me feel glowy.

The Naturium ones that are marked fragrance free are actually fragrance free. I find a lot of unscented stuff to have that weird chemical smell, but not Natirium fragrance free ones. They have several and they all smell of nothing to me.

Please can you link to this? I can only find a spray but not a roll on.

I'm looking at the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray but the glowy version. Has anyone used it? How glowy is it?

Are there any recommendations for dealing with dark under eyes? Whether thats an eye cream or serum to improve them or a concealer to cover up, I'm mid thirties but starting to feel that my under eyes are aging me, so would love some suggestions.
