Hello Friend,
Becky is a tradwife homesteader from the PNW, totally relatable like all of them are with their multi-million dollar properties, child minders and landscapers. On the bingo card for this YTer are shoping her basement, mentioning local farmers, Josh and I, stuff dying in her garden, the phrase 'on this day', adding cilantro and salt to everything, and her tasting face. Bonus points if she re-tells her olive oil story.
She has started leaning more into her inner Nara Smith.
Almost 700k followers is nothing to frown at, there clearly is an audience.
Sometimes she teams up with her Mother, sold to us as a party planner genius, where they talk really loudly and overcomplicate everything - don't get me started on the most convoluted shopping list in history. Her father is a pastor, she was home schooled.
In the grand scheme she is harmless, if a bit annoying. The internet always get's their blood pressure up because she doesn't show or mentions her young child (which I personally think is a sensible desicion). She repeats herself A LOT and has a go-to vocabulary- on Insta it's fun to watch out for her creative spelling.
Her gardening grinds my gears, I think she pretends to love it for videos but isn't really into it and, imho, it shows. They had a gread garden put in and she has a dedicated room to start her seeds but doesn't really get the results she could get in a space like that. I know successful gardening is hard but unlike Emma who makes it really clear that she doesn't know what she is doing, Becky's videos almost look like tutorials.
I also HATE to fugly green stalks.
