I think they know they'll get nowhere with fines etc. But this act is a way to force all companies in the UK to block a site so they're going through these steps to get it blacklisted.

Yeah, they realistically know that US courts will never uphold any fines or restrictions on US sites, so they'll just block them.

4chan is awful. But they do target awful websites on purpose in order to limit everyones civil liberties. Then like Labour have done, they accuse you of supporting PDF files if you're against such attacks on freedom.

And its not as if child abuse material never gets posted on 4chan anyway.

I'm also reminded of the guy who murdered his ex and posted pictures of her body on 4chan.

VPN usage is identifiable to tell when someone is using it. But not easily traceable and they can't force non UK owned VPNS to give over data.

Some boards are not for the faint-hearted but 4Chan's certainly not as bad as its reputation makes out. IMO /b lost its bite a long time ago.

Not looked at it for a good few months, but it's not as bad as it was 15 years ago. But that still doesn't mean it's good.
