The Trump admin has ordered State Department employees to report on any instances of coworkers displaying “anti-Christian bias” as part of its effort to implement a sweeping new EO on supporting employees of Christian faith working in the federal government.

Trump exempted tariffs on smartphones, computers and chips. Another day another flipflop.

Btw the trump admin gutted the chip act (a bipartisan act voted under Biden to incentivise the production of microchips in the US) saying they will use tariffs instead as tool. Now there are no tariffs on chips. Well done!

What about budget efficiency? Well, for the same amount of time they have spent 154 billions more than the Biden administration. Their incompetency and greediness are expensive.

Tough guy Donald, the bigliest & bestest most skilled negotiator in the entire history of most skilled negotiators people the bed again after being warned that the price of the most popular gadgets would go through the roof, because of HIS policies.
Donald's got China exactly where he wants them 😂

Should there be a continuation thread or something more general one as it's a while since the election, or instead just head over to the trump one in the other section?
Something of a fine line between Trump being a twit (under the 'celebrity' heading) and the exec orders where he's being a twit but doing/undoing things that have/had real-world consequences so maybe 'US Politics, After Maths...?

I'm happy with the thread being in Current Events, along with the other current affairs threads, uk politics, ukraine etc.

Well to match other ones it would be US Politics which already exists but never took off.

Can I ask a question as I am not American, and I am not biased with the answer, I’m genuinely curious. Why do Latin Americans (some of Tracy’s friends and crabby for example) vote and promote Trump. Surely his treatment of South America immigrants would discourage this? Again I’m not American so...
