It was a 5.2% swing from Lab - Con but my point wasn't that people never switch Labour to Tory. It's that Tories do not have a sizeable working class voter base and typically working class Labour voters go Reform rather than Conservative. Swinging once or twice isn't indicative of prolonged support.Thatcher had an 8.1% swing and also a higher % of the vote in 1979 than Tony Blair did in 1997 although he had an 8.9% swing so yes people do switch from Labour to the Tories in significant numbers.
I think it was Peanut the squirrelI think the dog and cat vote swung it.
The relationship between a mother and an unborn baby is symbiotic, not parasitic. Try thinkingA fetus is considered a parasite until viability. The bible teaches a baby is not alive until they have drawn 3 breaths.
You have no argument, you're attempting to defend treating women as gestation machines whos actual lives are unimportant
I heard an explanation as the people who are mostly polled are stopped by a person with a clipboard in the daytime and it's those (the wealthy left) and the right wing constituents are working and so don't get polled.Shy conservative vote is absolutely a thing though. It’s why many polls fuck it up again and again. BTL comments very different.
Just checking.I’d assume anyone would know it’s satire unless your a sourpuss with no sense of humour![]()
Indeed but you can draw some reasonable conclusions from some people's particular viewpoints. In fact it was you originally who said it might impact their views on euthanasia etc.I imagine there’s a whole range of views. Because, you know in reality there is such a thing as independent thought.
of a sort; though i think it’s difficult with the various different timezones (which means the coasts close voting at different times) and the street ballot boxes etc. this explains it better than me!Do they have an exit poll in America
Different question entirely. Killing an unborn child is no improvement, and you know it isn't.Well where's the funding for all these children with special needs? Where's the funding for pregnant women and mothers in poverty?
Who are these people? This is your brain on social justice
I've done matched bets via Sky tonight. The £20 will probably come back either way and I'll use up free bets anyway.Trump is the bookies favourite. You’ll do well if you put a bet on Kamala right now.
Eh have you forgotten about her comments to Joe where she more or less called him a racist over school busing?Oh yes I agree with you. But Kamala Harris herself never made a big case of her background. It only became a thing later on based on political calculations by the Democrat party but it is more an American issue than anything else. Segmentation of the population was first a marketing tool to better target potential consummers. Race, gender, age etc. are used as a way to categorize people to sell them products they would be more attracted to.
Ah did not know that! I heard reports earlier in the week that he wanted to run for president and they’d have to change the rules for that so I thought he wasn’t a citizenHe is an American citizen - a naturalized one.
The guy with the beard is Matt Walsh - a conservative commentator who works for the Daily Wire and who made the recent documentary "Am I racist" about the "anti racism" industryWho are these people?
