Does Runaround count? It was primarily a 70's show but did go on until 1981. That was a fab show too.

Can anyone remember Return to Eden? it was a mini series set in Australia in the 80s where a man threw his wife to crocodiles but she lived and got revenge. I was way too young to stay up to watch it but somehow managed to and it stuck in my mind all these years.

She was "unattractive" but
after being mauled and plastic surgery, looked different and she went to get her revenge(h[/SPOILER

I remember Return To Eden. She was left to die and had extensive surgery to fix her but instead of being badly disfigured she came back unrecognisable but beautiful. 80's mini series will never be matched.

80s American glossy mini series were the best
