1/2 Bathroom renovation

I'm having to have a new bathroom floor and joists following a leak I didnt know about. I'm having the bath and toilet taken out one day, the new floor and joists done the next then the toilet and new bath( white nice and modern) going back in. New taps on basin and bath and tiling to be done.
I'm thinking of these tiles for the floor Scintilla Black Pattern Tiles | Walls and Floors do you like them? I do, I want something nice and different and modern.

I like the tiles. A few questions don’t the tiles have to be laid before the bath and sink go back in? Also have you got a professional tiler as I once used the chippy to do the work big mistake.
Make sure the people you use are committed to doing this work on said days. Good luck.

They are giving off a Victorian vibe for me. I know Victoriana is very in. I like them but personally would be teaming them with old fashioned taps etc. Wouldn't say modern to me, but then again what the heck do I know 🤣 It will all be shiny and new and you will love it. Enjoy.

I think they're very nice, but they'll date quickly.

I would stick to a plain tile and introduce points of difference in your styling of the room - if you love stars, you could get funky little star-shaped knobs and knockers for your vanity unit, for example. And if your light(s) is/are pendant-style, you could get a star-shaped light fitting.

Flooring is expensive - when you do eventually get sick of the pattern, it will be an expensive hassle to replace with something else.

The tiles need to go under the toilet yes, but I think the new wooden floor and joists will need time to settle down first? obviously we cant be without the toilet, so that will have to go straight back in. I've never had a bath that's been tiled under before?.We just get cheapish baths, not any that are on feet or anything?
I'm getting it professionally tiled because I don't want any water rotting the floor again, no gaps. Thanks for that.X.

I have those tiles in the opposite colour way ( black background with off white stars) in my downstairs cloakroom. I love them.
I’ve gone for a kind of kitsch goth look with black fittings, a selection of vintage gilt mirrors from an auction over the sink and prints of skulls with bright flowers 🌺. I wanted to make it fun 🤩

Your bathroom sounds really nice and quirky. TBH anything is better than what we have at the moment beige non slip tiles!! I've always hated them.
