I'm sure it's been said, but does anyone else kind of miss going to buy CDs from HMV or other record stores? There was this little entertainment store I used go into regularly to buy albums and films. They have all closed now. Also, renting VHS tapes was great too. Every week a different film. Those were fun times.

I like the new tippex tech. They have a strip version now and not just the liquid stuff we had. Doesn't soak through the paper.

Reading this thread, I've had a memory of a dodgy mid 00s documentary, does it ring bells for anyone?
Bits I remember included -
Channel 4, Narrated by Miquita Oliver. Followed the lives of teen girls/ young women who were trying to get skinnier by restricting their diets. I have an awful memory of some woman in Brighton actually 'coaching' a girl on how to eat less and ignore her hunger At the end one of the girls starts 6th form and plans her outfit, happy that she's lost weight.

It was such a dangerous program that glorified eating disorders (they called it a 'lifestyle choice'). I think it was a one off show, but it leaves me cold thinking about it now!

Omg I just found it, it was called the thin club and was made for channel 4 schools! Crazy!
