Greetings all.
I am new to Hustle but am a longtime Mumsnet user; I have been following these threads with interest as I was one of the earlier joiners to the splinter FB group and became one of the admins.
Normally I don't comment on here but today we had the Hustle woman try to join the group - as she won't get the opportunity to recruit more stylists from this group we graciously declined (actually we blocked her) and then we got a message telling us that she has numerous screenshots of defamation and that she plans to sue... who or what, I don't know. So far only one screenshot has been produced where a member said her marketing strategy is crap. I agree.
So we shall see. I am putting this out there as I think her strategy of trying to silence members for speaking their mind is beyond the pale and it won't happen on my watch.
I'll update you if she actually produces any evidence 🙂

I'm one of the mugs that shelled put for a full analysis.

So it began like this.... 🙄

"Wow babe you're a gorgeous lady"... now, fuck off with your effusive bollocks, I'm not a babe or gorgeous so dont come at me with the "You-must-start-with-positivity" bullshit mkay? I'm old enough to be your fucking mum.

soooooo....

My colouring analysis. It was totally way off. Bad times. The clothes, having stated the parts I wished to hide, were what my stylist decided to show off... thanks hun, glad you read my profile I'd written... took me 2 seconds to write down the 4 areas I didnt want highlighting... roughly 2 seconds longer than you gave a shit to read it...

Then she gave me a long list of pictures stating what the item was "coat" "high waisted jeans" "dress"... as if she'd taken them from a child's "my first English book" ... Great, where they from? ... Who fucking knows...that was obv too much effort... not even in my "colours"... still, I have 2 sheets that my grandkids can use to learn to read... "Point to the chunky heel" "find the white trainers" "find the leopard print"... bet there's a few of us that could do that by the sounds of it? 😬

So I had to follow the fb group to find out what I could wear... so far I was 70 nicker down and none the fucking wiser.... so Facebook, can't ask for advice based on my season and shape cos "secret, hun" so I'm sat watching middle aged woman after middle aged woman whack on a kimono or a band tshirt and some clumpy white trainers or proper 80s vegan style sandals in the hope of not looking middle aged, whilst standing in front of an IKEA mirror surrounded by next tags and return labels and ask "does this suit me" (because they have no fucking clue either, because they got the same bullshit pamphlets..).. oh and on a night out, why not try out a long dress with clumpy trainers and a leather or denim jacket... like the 3000 other women wandering around the highest street on a night out too, the fucking tea-dress army was in force last time I ventured out to the local... fucks sake, was not feeling too spesh ...

I decided enough was enough, I wanted to see what our Suze was all about, so I dusted off the Gram, Oh, fuck me, turns put she dresses like early 80s Jimmy Somerville/ Roland Rat or an extra from "Aint half hot Mum"... and I paid this woman to advise me on what to wear, when she looks like she's dressed in physical-sarcasm... and the fucking Kaz bands???Im guessing hide her ears from the annoyed mutterings of pissed off women like me who paid a shit ton to get a pinterest pamphlet and royally mugged off.. Kaz band should be renamed the "la la la I can't fucking hear you band".. and now she wants to charge the same price again, yearly, for this advice... nah mate.

Here's my advice...

Wear what makes you fucking happy...

Did SBS identified her after she provided information to Trustpilot to verify her review? Did she ask Trustpilot to withhold identifying information (Not share with SBS)?

If this is what happened, I would contact TrustPilot ( [email protected] ) stating that by sharing her details (breaching GDPR), your friend is now being threatened for providing an honest and fair review. I would also contact the Danish Data Protection Agency (where EU Trustpilot is based) [email protected]. When contacting Datatilsynet you need to mention both Trustpilot and SBS
She had nothing to hide as her review was truthful and based on the facts of what happened so she shared her email and full name with trust pilot and didn't say not to share it with SBS because she said why should it potentially be removed because she didn't provide the details. She has received some solicitor advice and will be seeing them in court it looks like!
I will also get her to contact trust pilot to see if this is a breach of anything. Its not fair that an honest review has gone down this route. I am terrible sad for her but she has a fantastic support network of friends and family and also clearly the full support of most the ladies on here and Mumnet apart from whoever called her a troll.

She was scammed out of 5k by an online travel agent not long ago so she is feeling very raw but by going online positng and being vocal about that she found over 600 people who had also been scammed so she has been helping the police build their case against that company, her mum died in march and then her husband lost his job and then this comes along, all whilst she works sometimes 24 hour's a day supporting women fleeing domestic violence.

She is the last person who deserves all this right now and would give you her last penny if you needed it. She is the kindest person I have ever met and I'm genuinely sickened by people's treatment of her. Just know that she has seen peoples supportive comments and is incredibly touched. This is true female empowerment.

Thank you all for being in her corner, you have no idea how that's helped her

It is true. I have seen a copy of the letter being sent and the reply that needs to be returned to avoid legal action. It requires the individual to delete all reference to SBS on all forms of social media and websites.
There's a few genuinely terrified people out there today. Susie you should be heartily ashamed of yourself, you utter shithouse. You're a cyber bully of epic proportions and I am sorry I ever bought anything from you.

Glad to find this group!

Don't for one second feel sorry for Susie. I felt disappointed in her session that totally got my shape wrong. It's like she copied and pasted the wrong text. I emailed to say I'd expected so much better with her reviews. She didn't apologize at all and threatened me that if I left a negative review she would get her solicitor to sue me for deflamation as she had my name, age and address from the payment. She kicked me out of the group and I never left a bad review as I felt threatened and intimidated by her. I wonder how many people she has scared off from leaving an accurate review?

This is Karna coming back to her for her own awful behaviour and poor business.

So just thought I'd reply as I am Kerry from Trend Tonic and don't like seeing my business slated. I hand make everything, Ali express is known for ripping off others brands but what your screenshot from my website is a lightning bolt which many brands do and I haven't claimed as unique. All my items are made from cork leather which is sustainable and I have a tree planted for every pair bought. I did the seasons edit with Emily as a Collaboration which is why she's 'plastered' all over the website and this has never been hidden. I was colour trained by colour me beautiful a completely seperate business to Susie and I offered her the patreon discount as a business move because it's where my customers are based. Just like I have discounts on other style pages and stylists newsletters etc. A lot of the ladies on the new group wear my earrings which I'm extremely proud and has nothing to do with being affiliated with anyone and more to do with the fact I've spent ages learning how to make bloody good earrings 😂 I think I've covered everything but I'm open and happy to answer any other questions
can I just say, well done on a great response to this kind of issue. Reasoned reply defending your business, and you have taken on the chin any comments about indicating if someone had purchased or gifted items. Hats off to you 👏👏👏. No threatening, or calling anyone a bully. I for one, have gone onto your site following your comments and will definitely be purchasing some of your lovely jewellery ❤

I have spent just over a year feeling rubbish because I didn’t feel like I had made any progress after having an uninspiring analysis and trying to wear colours that just don’t suit me - I genuinely thought it was my problem and I was the only “runt” not getting it! Was I the only one who was irritated by the constant “poor me, I have so much work to do and now I’ve got to sit here and do this Live for you all that I don’t want to do” attitude? I thought so! I stumbled across this thread after being nosey when “trolls” were mentioned and I suddenly feel so SEEN! Thank you all for making me realise it’s not just me!
